Will there be a different reaction if an MC is dating Kol?
First, I want to say that I enjoyed Keeper of the Sun and Moon. Along with a few other games (Shadow Society, etc.) you work has moved into my ‘must buy’ list.

It looks like there might be two more romances. Jarrod and Dominic Moreno Will there be a couple more female ones?
Also, a small suggestion: If Kol does awaken, I really think Thalia would say something or react as well. If the player’s relationship is low with him, then I think him saying ‘Thalia’ would actually make sense when waking up.

They’re basically just side romances and don’t have full routes.
There will be options for MC’s that are very close to Kol, but nothing specifically for MC’s dating him. I couldn’t think of anything Kol’s love interest exclusively would say that a very close friend couldn’t also when he’s just woken up. If you have any suggestions please let me know!

MC is/will be able to flirt with Dominic, Jarrod, Gisela, and Marcela by popular demand. They’re not full romance routes though.

You probably have accounted for this or will, but if the player is in a relationship, they can also tell Jarrod they love him. I figure you will do it as a way to allow a break-up, but only mentioning it in case you didn’t. Heh, tracking variables can be troublesome at times.
Another thing I’m sure you probably thought of, but one can’t exactly test with the beta (since there is no importation of old games), but if the player’s Mother/Father already met Katia or Seraphina in game then a ‘Lovely to see you again’ might be a good bit of color.

Maybe it doesn’t have to be said out loud. Maybe it’s an inner monologue or something the MC does that shows the player that MC is really concerned for their boyfriend. Maybe something describing about how their heart skipped a beat when they saw Kol’s inky black eyes, how much they’ve missed getting lost in them. Or something cheesy like that, something Astrid would approve of. Or MC being extra persistent with wanting to speak to Kol and has to be restrained by the suitemates or the people working at the hospitals.
I feel like it’d add more spice to it, since Kol is more than a friend to some players. Scenes in KotSaM and KotDaN are pretty abrupt and choppy, like when MC was instantly in class after learning Leon’s sister died. The transition felt like it came out of nowhere, and in a dissatisfactory way. There’s no in-between. Kol waking up is a pretty important scene in my opinion. Adding a splash of color to it would make it feel less empty and anticlimatic. Because the whole vibe I got from it was “he’s awake, let’s move on”.
As of now, to allow for maximum player freedom, flirting is only restricted based on who MC is romancing e.g. MC romancing Katia or Sera can’t flirt with Gisela because that would be hazardous to their health. I considered restricting MCs romancing Thalia from flirting with Jarrod…but Jarrod knows Thalia well enough to know she’d be cool with it.

Yeah, most of the ROs would not be okay with serious flirting. It’s up to the player whether they do it anyway though 
So is it just flirting and not serious? Feel like most of the ROs wouldn’t be okay with serious flirting.
If I recall correctly, Dominic, Gisela, and Jarrod are just flings and won’t be fully fleshed out because they weren’t romance options in the first book. I speculate that in book two it’ll maybe get more serious. Some of the main ROs didn’t take the relationship very seriously in the beginning of book one. Their romances get more fleshed out a little bit at the end and now they’re getting full subplots in this book. I don’t really know if the flings will get subplots in the third book, I just think they’ll get more serious like the main ROs did in the first book as the story progresses and MC gets in more life threatening situations.
So it’s just flirting then, but I’m just wondering how the main ROs will take it you flirting behind their back or the people your flirting with knowing your already dating someone. I don’t think they’ll end up being as fleshed out as the others in Book 2 or 3 though since, based on what’s been said on the Tumblr, it’s already hard enough since there are already 10 whole routes that have to be written for each main RO, and these side characters are just flirtations.
There’s an ask about how the ROs would react if MC cheated on them. I can’t find it because tumblr search function sucks but iirc none of them would react well, which is obvious.
But there’s also another ask about how the ROs would react if MC flirted with others.
