Ehh, the game explicitly states that it’s not realistic in any way on the very first page.
It’s hard to think of this as “game of thrones” where your MC can be a lazy bum gamer.

I did say “more” realistic for a reason. Crazy Rich Asians is not a particularly realistic movie to begin with. So it’s a low bar. Just like Empire Strikes Back
True, but it couuuld be. If one wants to. Honestly, it sounds very tempting to just go game all night and party while the company heirs go at each other’s throats. Would make it kinda funny to have them scheme, have one of them come to MC for help and the latter be completely uninterested.

Just the type of game I was looking for. Totally Awesome. But I think it would be awesome if MC’s age was a bit lower like 29-32 years because it will feel good play arrogant when the MC is younger.

With MC being 35 i kinda want to say this is close to splitting hair, but on the other hand having MC’s age to be something like 31-32 would fit slightly better when you have aunt who is 43. Plus the whole ‘outrageously young’ aspect that can be quite appealing in the context, yes.

I mean you can just show that mc is a “artificial genius” prodigy who scored a perfect score in his entrances(I’m taking abt the 3000). But ya I get that it’ll be a bit unrealistic that the grandfather recommend a 28 yr old for his position.

Well…shit…too bad stupid Putin and his stupid laws make the game not for me as I have zero interest in straight romance or playing closeted. If it is a success maybe the author will release a director’s cut someday after the fall of the Putin regime, we can hope.
Anyway good luck with the game and I truly wish the author success and all the best with this project.

The process is simple: pissing off despotic mother who is employing them now is far more dangerous to their well-being than not getting involved in her spat with her underage kid who might or might not amount to anything 20 years later.

If this makes the crazy rich Asians genre popular in interactive fiction chances are much better somebody else will write a version that does allow the mc to be gay in the future and hopefully one of the crazy rich Asians, I’d be less interested in playing the dumb, lower-middle class American who gets caught up with them.
Therefore it is in my personal interest too, since I really like this concept, that this succeeds even if this particular offering will not and cannot be for me and I am obviously not going to demand somebody already living under such a shitty regime as Putin’s endanger themselves over hot, yet fictional, gay boys.
Like I said before I wish the author all the best and hope this thing becomes a smashing success, preferably one that inspires other authors, who live in places where more liberties can be more easily taken, to follow.

I adore it, the ability to be your own person, and yet author gives us temptations which are (for the MC) are very easy to give into. Fun exercise in temperance, and writing is short and energetic, always driving things forward

A minor idea: given the focus of this game, i’d kinda like to have “finances ticker” printed along with the current date on day change, showing the latest change in value of your stocks and other assets. As it is, you have to hunt that in the Stat sub-menus and it doesn’t have the same feel like having it monitored/delivered to your desktop, so to speak.
