I get the desire for Rowan to be a RO, but I think he works a hell of a lot better as a close friend. The interactions with Rowan when you “flirt” with him are a beautiful example of a really close friendship.

I’m not the biggest fan of Seven, they are very bitter and depending on the kind of Mc I play as, it can make them seem like a immature jerk. I do enjoy the angst, so I will be having one Mc still be in love with Seven but fall in love with someone. Hoping for a soap opera.

My ultimate goal is to still be in love with Seven, have some angst of having to deal with that, and then move on right in front of their face for the poly relationship.
You wanna be petty even when I’m being amicable and still heartbroken? Works for me. Now watch as I get over you by getting closer to a world famous artist and model and write damn good punk music with it.

Im starting to lean this direction as well. I like angsty romance, but the way I have been playing my character, they voted agaist kicking Seven out, and the fight appears to have been both of our fault. Seven being so petty about everything after this long, when I’m being nice and they were equally at fault is getting tiring, and I’m ready to move on.
I think when I do follow through with Seven, I’ll make a much meaner character who voted to kick them out, which would nake Seven’s anger seem more reasonable/make them seem like less of a child.

I agree that that Seven is being kinda unreasonable. But I sort of feel like people get unreasonable when they have to deal with more complex emotions and situations. Like, he knows it isn’t just our fault. He had a hand in the initial fight and breakup, and he handled it in a really crappy way. But now that he’s older (went from early twenties to mid twenties. Still relatively young, but definitely more mature) and has probably realized more about the whole thing, he has to face that everyday with us around. He’s still upset, he feels at least a little bit guilty, and he hates that everything is brought back to the surface via a reality tv show. He feels so… human. So, unless he’s shown to be an actual, certified jerk, I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt. It’s only chapter two, after all… and I love angst

Completely agree with this, my MC was also against kicking Seven out of the gang, and I can understand why she behaves the way she does. So, for now, and while waiting to find out the reason why she is so angry with us, I give her the benefit of the doubt.

Chapter 2 was really good! i loved the character interactions and the deeper exploration of MC’s parental issues hahahaha. I think Infamous has some of my most favorite ROs in every IF I’ve read so far. All of them are really interesting (and so are their dynamics with MC)

My mc told seven that it felt like fate upon meeting them again and he went mental 
the reason is just seven being hurt by the vote but also what happened at the party after it…I really am so curious to find out the details of that party!

You have a way with describing feelings and emotions which is really natural.I tried to not fall for the Seven romance and erased my tattoo, but I’m a fool who will redo her playthrough to have the perfect “best friend to enemies to lover” story

Obsessed with this WIP! Love the premises of the story and the writing is immaculate. Our band members are just precious and the banter with Rowan is god tier. There’s a good amount of ROs with very unique personalities and I love that for us. I’m a bit meh about G (they feel very rock star cliché right now) and 50/50 on Seven. Seven is too mercurial and petty atm, every interaction it’s giving me whiplash but until I don’t have the full picture of what happened I’ll be giving them the benefit of the doubt.

I discovered this game on accident on Tumblr, and boy am I glad I did. Some of the plotlines getting set up already seem to be paying off in some ways, and I love the direction this is going in.
I just hope I can have a mental breakdown at some point and scream at everyone after playing a calm MC. That seems cathartic

That’s so close to what I’ve been doing. I’ve been kind and humble at best and indifferent at worst, mostly when fighting is involved. I’m very much hoping for one of those “out of character, totally unexpected” freak outs. I’m craving it. I want to make every single bastard in my vicinity feel bad for being drama freaks, even the ones not involved.
Gimme those breakdowns. I just wanna make music and have people like it.

I am 1,000,000% ready to hear about the party and what happened with Seven. I am also just as ready to break down crying and begging her to come back. Ive been playing my mc as a nervous wreck who is just doing this for the music. She never cared about fame and never wanted Seven to sing backup, at least from the choices I’ve made so far. Can’t wait for the angst to boil over and watch myself fall apart.

I have to say that I really liked this one! I think you have an amazing story, very good characters with their own personalities and a well written romance.
One of the things that I also really enjoyed was the atmosphere that you created. I like music and I often wonder how the music scene is and how different it can be from an average career. To live off music is not easy and very few make it big, so I liked how you portrayed the feelings and the whole environment of this journey, while also not forgetting the things and situations that happen in the day to day life.
All in all, I think you have something great in your hands and I’m excited to see what happens next!

I mean it’s pretty obvious that she hasn’t forgotten about the mc either, even if she doesn’t show it. Like attending the concert, interfering during the fight in party, during the call etc.
Not to mention her anger is valid

Hey! As a woman heavily into the music scene, I wanted to show that parts of Infamous change if your MC identifies as a woman (because of misogyny and other stuff in the music industry.) That encounter with the drunk men changes MC’s inner-monologue if MC identifies as a woman (taken from my experience) because of the innate fear of being confronted by two men at night. That line for men is just established to balance the flavor text, that’s all! MC is still uneasy and everything as a man, but it’s just acknowledging the difference.
That’s going to happen often in the story, especially on things based on a industry that treats men and women differently!
