IFComp 2026

Is anybody else participating in IFComp this year?

The registration deadline has passed, but there are still a few days to upload if you’ve registered!

I am putting the final touches on my entry, which is a twine game I worked on with my friend Aidan Doyle.

Not this year. Not enough time in my schedule to get an entry organised. I’m looking forward to see what is entered though

Not this year, alas. I always have ideas (far too many ideas), but not enough time to implement them with any grace.

Yes! I’m participating in IFComp this year. It’s a parser-based game with a surreal historical fantasy story in a Victorian setting. Looking forward to seeing all the entries!

I’m a little sad to see only one ChoiceScript entry this year. :frowning:

I urge everyone here to go play Shadow and Ink. It is so quirky and cozy and fun! It’s basically linear and involves a series of inventory puzzles, and it’s easy enough to be relaxing while still keeping your interest. There’s a secret ending and a paper monkey and you get to eat a donut - what more could you ask, really?

But let’s be real - with Uninteractive Fiction 3 in the competition, nobody else even stands a chance.

It’s got a Bigfoot and everything.
