I, the Unbroken One [ITFO2] [Chapter Two Released!] [November 21st, 2025]

Rade could also join the eye-patch club thanks to Weapons Marshal.

The other possible members are Vedran (with Weapons Marshal attacking and trying to kill him in B1C6) and Elya (if you let Nado’s cavalry cross in B1C5, aren’t near her to protect her from the ambush, and her Strength is less than 4). The Marshal can also have a scar over their eye (B1 character creation), but they don’t lose the eye, so IDK if they are members.

@maximo_caseres thanks for that. I know it’s possible for her to be scarred, but I didn’t know the specifics. If I don’t disrupt their plans, I let her kill Drazen ( since she has 6+ strength going in on nearly all my playthroughs).

Keep in mind that she gets +1 strength right before the hit comes, so Elya needs to come with just 2 strength or even less. The good part is I think with 3 strength she can choose the path to Krorid to reach 4 strength and get total loyalty as a cool scarred queen.

Confirmed, at 3 strength can choose path and get +1 strength, cold goes short and warm goes long.

@Snowflower

Yeah mine goes with just 4 because I assist the negotiations for more units and heavy cavalry, but same, I never actually got this version of Elya. Although from my calculations, it’s ideal for a Leadership Marshall that prioritizes her warmth.

Telling her to cry gives the most warmth at the start

Bury the dead and cherish the living is highest warmth and +1 strength

Giving her a smile is the same warmth as touching her with +1 strength

Obviously comforting Elya yourself gives warmth and takes -1 strength

If you let her ask for parley she will do it kinda terrible but with no warmth cost and +1 strength

Obviously you need to take over negotiations as Leadership, even if it costs -1 strength. Although if you don’t have leadership focusing on the feudal contract gives the same result for +1 strength, it’s a nice bit.

With her strength at 1, her shouting to move out will be bad but give +1 strength

Getting scarred is another +1 strength

And she has reached the path to krorid with 3 strength, the highest warmth possible, and is ready to choose the long road and officially become a strong queen.

Yeah, I usually prioritize Strength first, Warmth second on my loyal Tactics Marshal. Still around 63 Warmth iirc (would have been more, but getting 7 strength heading into Chapter 5 without WQ requires 3 Envy and that choice makes her colder).

Do you spare Vedran? Since that also gives Warmth.

I’m usually satisfied with having between 4 and 6 strength, like my normal tactics Marshal usually gets 5 elya strength although with some warmth hits between envy strength and atiming river massacre.

Oh really? Good to know, I didn’t spare him for warmth, I spared him because I’m a fool playing a bastard king with high Mira and Vedran respect, trying to keep the bonds from falling apart while also being unable to resist my own ambitions and hunger for more than they ever wanted to give me.

will it be possible for marshal to have their ro turn against/reject them depending on marshals actions same as how relationship with darin gets more strained based on certain actions usurper marshal does?

Looks like it yeah

I have a theory that this will happen in the next update

I was already coloring this when the suggestion was made. I might make tsundere twintails Rade if I get a sudden burst of inspiration for something cursed and if i feel like it.

I like it a lot, but was hoping for Tsundere Twintails Rade.

“Rade…” translating → “buzz word… literally anything under the sun”

I rewrote the entire battle scenes in editing. Took me forever, but the final product is so much better. Dropped the word count a bit, though. Back to normal editing. Have to rework other stuff to fit with the new improvements, but expect an update in the next… 7-10 business days.

Can’t wait to commit more war crimes.

hey this is medieval times before the geneva convention. in these times anything a noble does is a okay (the aristocrats) and on the flipside you can label a peasant breathing as a war crime to execute them (like our mom “making” sobik have an affair)

hmmm considering some real life stuff going on right now maybe society hasnt really progressed past medieval times. just the definition of noble and peasant have changed

That’s not really true; the concept of chivalry (which includes ideas that nobles should be merciful and safeguarding those who are weak and vulnerable) originates exactly from these medieval times (or even further back) Morals and promotion of ethics aren’t 20th century invention.

Morals and promotion of ethics haven’t ever been a thing even today. Social media and cell phones debunked that myth.

What do you mean they have “never been a thing”? In what sense? Because the concept quite clearly exists because it’s been mentioned here and elsewhere.

Also, of course morals and promotion of ethics exist, not just as a concept but they have been tried as well, the geneva convention for example forbid many actions of wars which were considered criminal by the convention and even though it isn’t always enforced, it still serves as a reference for making war less brutal.

And, Christianity and many branches of it promote moral values such as compassion and more.

There’s other examples as well but my point has been clearly made here.

I’m not sure how social media and cell phones debunk the whole concept.

Fairly sure they’re just being sarcastic…?

Didn’t you catch the “world only started last Thursday” shenanigans?

Cellphones was always around in that weirdness.

It seemed serious and I didn’t realized it was a joke, I apologize.

I haven’t heard of that type of shenanigans before, either way, I got to go, goodbye!
