I, the Unbroken One [ITFO2] [Chapter Two Released!] [November 21st, 2025]

How many battles do you plan on @Bacondoneright? Also in the previous game there was mention that other nations and kingdoms might also get involved, is that going to occur or was it the marshal being characteristically pessimistic.

Rade’s steppe raiders are already here.

Yeah, but there was mention of ravarians, etc. Though if the steppe riders are any indication, the marshal might soon start getting grey hairs and start look like his pops Darin.

Hey, I need some help again!
So, I’ve re-read book one and been planning on playing the WIP of book 2, but I’m unsure about which option should I chose in the character creator in two instances.

  • When it comes to the final battle. I didn’t use guerilla warfare, and I routed the rebels, but I’m still unsure which option is relevant between “And the massacre was indiscriminate” and “Their bodies littered the fields.”. I took a look at the code in order to get some hints, and I believe it should be the first option since it was a pretty great victory and it’s the one that leaves less surviving rebel infantry, but since I’m not sure, is there a way to confirm which one it is with book 1 (like with achievement, specific flavor text or something)?
  • I’ve romanced Obren, but the creator mentions him and the Marshal discussing facial hair and I have an option that either Obren was convinced to remain clean shaven or decided to try to grow a beard - but that never happened on my playthrough of book 1? I’m assuming I have to pick the clean shaven option then since that was the case in the first book, but does that mean there’s a bug somewhere in book 1 related to that and I’m missing an entire convo with him?

As far as I know “The massacre was indiscriminate” refers to your order to slaughter the fleeing infantry after routing Rade vs letting them flee.

I let them circle and finish the job.

Hoping Rade would get trounced too. Though, he wouldn’t. Do need to drop his numbers. As he wanted to keep outnumbering me, so I slaughterfest.

Beginning of Book 2 it was called out. Dont blame the men, you set the standard, Marshal, they expect wins.
