I, the Forgotten One Release Thread (1.2) [SEQUEL WIP UNDERWAY]

How hight respect Vedrand reaction to MC the Usurper?

Vedran doesn’t have a reaction nor an epilogue so they don’t have a reaction to the usurpation during chapter 11.

This game was fantastic from start to finish, and actually inspired me to start working on a CYOA game of my own. Thanks for this wonderful work, and i cant wait to play the sequel.

A little late to the party, but CONGRATULATIONS again on the release!

I remember back when only two chapters were released on demo, and I am so honored to have had the privilege of watching this project develop over the past three years.

Very satisfied with the conclusion of Book One’s arc. (Rade fleeing with tail tucked between his legs like a lil’ btch :relieved: , my marshal Kotryna allowing herself to be all giggly and affectionate with Milon  , and I had a real smile on my face when Elya told Kotryna before coronation that she looked cute in that dress lol :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:) Our cast of characters truly deserved this moment of respite, however brief.

Can’t wait to see what lies next in the Magister Militum’s story!

Marshal Kotryna

I guess that makes us both irrational :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I need more! :triumph:

(Are the friendships tracked though? If not, I wonder if there any plans to implement a platonic friendship stat)

Yeah, I noticed this too. I was thinking, “uhh haircut? What haircut?”

You can also get it if you attempt to save Dismas, (but give Lada the shield). Dismas will not survive, but you get the achievement after returning to Lada (who is still on the battlefield) and speaking with her.

How much will Rade undermine himself by seeking foreign help? Particularly if he lost more the 3/4 of his strength such that he doesn’t really have what could be called an army any more and will need to start from scratch?

I would think the worse he lost, the more foreign help he’ll be relying on.

Hard to say exactly how much for us as players but u would imagine it hurts him a lot just for his nornal forces being hurt so badily. He likely half to rely on his freinds even more.

Do we know how many dukes Kanton has?

I like this story even more when I manage to create a counter part of the game call For Honor character like Holden Cross and Apollyon,

I have to say one thing that really impressed me about this game was how it portrayed medieval warfare in an authentic way. We see armor and its effectiveness throughout. Like how two equally sized groups of heavy cavalry charging at the each inflict about 10% casualties and then they’re too exhausted to continue. And how most casualties are inflicted when one side breaks.

Or how the Marshal can lose way more men to disease and marching than to the two big field battles.

The army mechanics overall are awesome.

The most stressful part of the game for me was the winter march. Literally nothing you can do but let people get sick and die and hope you can prevent it from getting worse. Then you have those who get injured or maimed, over and over arrows are considered the most deadly injuries despite not always being immediate death sentences. Infection and illness being worse than actual fighting is straight up medieval horror to me because its so real.

At least in the fighting, you have some modicum of control.

We could have had it much worse. =)

How large of an army are others bringing back to the capital at the end of the game? For my most recent, I’m returning with about as large a force as I left with in the winter after virtually destroying Rade’s army in the final battle, slightly over 6k. Slightly more archer heavy in composition.

Exactly, winter is like an apocalypse for medieval armies, the horror of slowly dying from hunger thirst frostbite and battle wounds is just the beginning, even the act of forming up can be exhausting.

I know it’s too early to call the vote. But jeez, no respect for the lower ranges of female singing voices.

FWIW when I do run a singer I go Mezzo, but I usually don’t sing at all.

This is a nice poll! Well made, fellow poll-maker!
So far, it seems to reflect the results of my earlier (pre release) poll, that the lower voices aren’t as popular whether people play as M!Marshal or F!Marshal.
