Great thanks!!
No update announcement on the steam page though, isn’t that normally done?
Oh so I just have to restart? Great
I don’t know the technical details, but it seems to be pretty typical for CoG/Hosted games for some reason – e.g. Lords of Infinity also shows empty update history on Steam even though it received multiple updates since launch.
I’m also surprised that there aren’t a bunch of Kantonians of a certain age sharing their name: for a seven-year period, the Marshal was the Crown Prince/eldest Princess (I don’t think a Princess Royal equivalent title exists for the ruler’s eldest legitimate daughter in Kanton, and F!Marshal did have a period of time where she wasn’t Crown Princess but was still a princess).
Okay! I should have fixed the error causing endless losses. The checkpoint never set the variable determining whether the rebel cavalry made impact with the line back to false, so the errors of previous attempts were being carried over. It’s fixed now, as well as a fix for negative heavy cavalry losses.
I’ve got ideas in mind for this.
Oh absolutely. If there’s any person who can handle Uly, it’s Whiskey and vice versa.
I’ve got a plot point in mind for this that’ll be decided by Krorid’s loyalty to the MC, which’ll be governed by a new variable.
^^^
It should be better now.
Tell me about it…
None that would play any major role in the civil war.
Should be fixed!
Should be fixed as well
Now lol
Congratulations on the release of the Game. Played the demo and it definitely gave me Game of Thrones vibes. Amazing story, sad to see the romance options being very limited but hey its not a romance story so I understand.
It is a shame there was no F/F romance, can I ask why? Loads of people on Reddit said they would not support it aka buy the story for this exact reason which is strange as not every story is a romantic one but I for one will support this story.
Another question would be is there a sequel in the works or is this a one off?
He explained it earlier in the thread.
Thanks man. I still think in my humble opinion Lada should have been an available F/F romance, but thats just me
I don’t really see how Lada being bisexual would work. Her whole approach is that she is blatantly flirtatious, and we all know damn well she isn’t gonna get away with casually flirting with a woman like she could with a man. She’s also seems to be more interested in cold, stoic and masculine men. And while you can technically be all those things as a woman, you can also mourn your lost femininity and choose to wear dresses at certain times which conflicts with what she is into. In my opinion, it’s for the best F/F is being held off until the sequel.
I also never really liked the idea of having every character be bisexual just for the sake of the reader, but that’s probably just a me thing.
She’s just as interested in a short Intimidation 0 Marshal who sings at a tenor fwiw.
I think it could be interesting for a lesbian Marshal to be able to be attracted to Lada and have to navigate those emotions, even though the feelings aren’t reciprocated. Sort of a way to acknowledge the Marshal’s sexuality without adding another romance to the game. Maybe that’d be a bit too mean to the folks hoping for an f/f romance though.
True, but none of those things take away from the MC’s overall coldness and stoic facade.
Anyone figure out what the factors that up your intimidation score are?
Calloused eyes is +1 intimidation
Obvious face scar (eye scar or cheek scar) is +1 intimidation
Long beard or long braided beard (only M!Marshal can choose to have facial hair or not) is +1 intimidation
Tall height is +1 intimidation
The most intimidating M!Marshal has 4 intimidation, the most intimidating F!Marshal has 3 intimidation.
@Skaggy Yeah, that would definitely be very mean to F/F players (which is why I’m glad the author didn’t do it).
That and Lada never read (to me) as anything other than friendly on my main, F!Marshal, playthroughs.
Girls are very often atracted to those “soft” traits precisely because they happen to exist in an otherwhise “cold”, traditionally masculine person.
Father Miljenko topped the poll for Favorite Secondary Character, with 49 percent of respondents choosing him as at least one of their favorites. It’s no surprise to me—he is always kind and nonjudgmental of the Marshal (and doesn’t believe in dishonoring), and willing to administer comfort, reconciliation and last rites to the soldiers even at great personal risk to himself (his first scene has him administering last rites to soldiers dying in the Chapter 4 blizzard). I hope we see more of him in ITUO!
What was surprising to me was the unnamed Kroridian Berserker beating Dismas (who placed third) for second place. It seems he made quite the impression (and if the Marshal fails to slay Vuk themselves, he sacrifices his own life to save them) on the players as well as on the Marshal. While I doubt he survived chapter 8, I wonder if we may see or hear about the guy again.
As a whole, the named soldiers such as Vjeran were more popular than the nobles (and royal, Belos)—the exception was Vuk, who was second-to-last in the popularity poll. Baron Ciril placed dead last, which was completely expected.
can we dishonour him infront of Mira?
that would be more better if we cut his fingers and throw it infront of mira.
maybe dishonour mira as well.

Now that the game is released I’ll ask this question again.
Yea, nah, not dishonoring Vedran if an opportunity comes, propagating the system that hurt you so much doesn’t seem healthy.
