I can save him

In that case, Vedran isn’t. MC is by your standing the proper ruler. Right?

From my point of view and understanding of the rules, the MC really shouldn’t be able to inherit and that part is correct. However, if I was a noble in setting, I’d be pretty fed up with the House Stiedry after all the absolute bullshit that Sobik pulled multiple times with the succession. First, trying to pass off the MC as the heir. That whole scandal would taint him forever in my eyes.

The line of succession is Belos, Vedran and Elya. I wouldn’t think Sobik writing a private letter to his natural child could alter that, particularly since Belos did nothing to indicate that Vedran was not his heir and didn’t implement any of the suggestions in Sobik’s letter. Once the crown passed to Belos, I wouldn’t think Sobik had a right to determine Belos’s heir for Belos. I’d see Rade, Elya and the MC as all being usurpers, traitors and regicides (when Vedran is killed) and hang aloof from the fighting as much as I could or just look out for number one which it seems everyone else is doing.

I have to agree if total victory and total loyalty ending didn’t happen. Sorry. Really difficult for Nobles to ignore triple devastating wins. Total Loyalty requires respectability of nobility came across, saving as many as possible. Plus, it is
seems to be known and shared Vedran is no longer in line of succession. Especially at end.

Vedran would have support otherwise. However, most would probably go to Reincester instead then.

Oh Vedran you absolute little shit. You better have a justifiable reason for this or you’re going to get slapped

Especially at a level 5. I don’t want to kill him. If necessary. I can lob a WP, wait, a blade at him.

“Whatever it takes, little bro.”

There are going to be three routes? Bastard monarch is one, staying loyal to Ela another. What’s the third?

She dies but makes you regent

I was thinking of my WP as lil sis myself.

The little bro is Vedran in this context, the person you’d be throwing the WP at. Given he’s younger than MC, and all.

Cowboy hat added on request of a friend as a reference to Tin Star

Brigandine and chain mail are such hassles to draw

Bacon said it was a very specific route so it could be either the regent route or the bastard monarch route rather than the loyalist one and it’s likely to also be caused by specific decisions done in the first and second game

He has a respect stat that gets tracked and how you treat him during his confinement is probably all going to be a factor, I don’t think it’s going to matter too much which of the three paths you’re on, just how much he fears/respects you

It could be, but again, bacon referred to a “VERY specific route” so I think it’ll be more complex than respect stats.

I agree there are multiple factors that are probably under consideration here, but what I disagree is I don’t see why this couldn’t happen on the Marshall path either.

Perhaps, but at the same time, some folks will opt for “better safe than sorry” and won’t leave that to chance. /s

No sibling, no (potential) problem.

Oh come on, don’t be so paranoid!

Imagine the issues you’ll have with nobility for killing your brother!

@Sujan_Dhakal well at least high leadership Elya can save your ass

Author might’ve noticed this but someone copied the game on webnovel and dreame, exactly with the choices also as straight novel.

Titled “The Corals with The Wifes”
