Can anyone tell me how to make art for my game ?

Is there a specific app or website I can use ?

I don’t know of any web-based editors but there sure are.

Gimp is an image manipulation software free available for GNU/Linux, macOS, Windows

Krita is a free open-source painting program also available for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Then you have Adobe Photoshop but I think that one is paid and not available for Linux.

If you want to draw things yourself like from scratch, you most likely than not would need to get a drawing pad.

I’ve seen people here in the forum mention some “free to use stock image pages” you can also use to create your own mashups.

Continuing the discussion from over on the Falrika thread as it was getting a little off topic for anyone who would like to, how and why do you make your own cover art? What sites or programs do you use? What do you think makes for good promotional art? Photopea has been suggested as a free PS-ish alternative that is a bit more user friendly for beginners than Gimp. getpaint.net is another.

If you like painting I’d also suggest artrage (paid but much cheaper than PS.) Agree very hard to paint digitally without a drawing pad (but you can get second hand ones that work just fine off places like ebay. Mine’s pretty ancient by this stage lol.)
