How many choices is too many choices?

How many choices is too many?

so i just finished the intro chapter to my game and i was thinking on average (meaning you can get more) you make seventeen choices. i don’t feel this is enough but i let it slide because it was just my intro chapter. now if i did the same amount for all my chapters (there is six) that would be 102 choices in one game. Not counting all the replay ability. to me the number seems a little to small. am i wrong is it too much? too little? just right?
