How did everyone find CoG?

I was always a fan of RPGs (the pen and paper variety) as well as Choose Your Own Adventures. And while I enjoy games from BioWare, etc. sometimes I wanted a more direct impact. This led into some Visual Novels (with the interactive element)…and then I saw the Heroes Rise on Steam. I came over here, tried some of the free demos, and free games, and was hooked

I do hope, if Steam allows it, Choice of Games will put a couple of their free ones on Steam to let people have a go at it, and see if they like it. I do know I got a few others hooked on Steam (these are great if you don’t want a twitch game, or something which you can leave, and come back too).

Something, I don’t remember what, led me to Sabres of Infinity’s TVtropes page. It looked right up my alley, so I checked it out. I wasn’t disappointed.

I was searching for zombie games, and found zombie exodus. Totally drawn into CoG since =)

I played a game called Digital years ago and went out obsessively looking for more IF, and a friend recommended Choice of Games for my phone. (:

I searched for superhero games, and Heroes Rise popped up. Bought it a week later.

My friend showed me Choice of the Dragon back in 2009. I’ve been hooked ever since.

I found C.o.G what feels like forever ago. It was either 2009 or 2010 when I first played a C.o.G.
First one I played was Choice of Vampire then Dragon and Broadside. I played the romance one but never bought the rest of it.

lmao I have no idea at all. I think I found Choice of Romance a long time ago while searching for dating sims. I remember when I found it though there weren’t even ten games out yet between CoG and Hosted. Look how far it’s all come!

I was looking for browser RPG games and on this site called Jay is Games I found the link to Choice of Romance. ^^ And I’m so glad I did. <3

Dragon brought me here although I have no recollection as to how I stumbled across that addicting little story.

I’ve spent many of my waking hours since reading other CoGs, soaking up the forum knowledge and working on my own story.

This is a great place filled with creative people that just happen to make me feel old.

I found some Choice of Broadsides fanfiction on Archive of Our Own.

I was intrigued about the original, googled it and got to this website.

I was browsing the App store when I stumbled onto Choice of Vampires, thought it looked cool, and picked it up.

When I finished it, I was really impressed and looked up everything else the company had done, and voila.

I was reading the Lone Wolf books on Project Aon and someone linked CoG there. I read Choice of Broadsides and was hooked ever since.
