Then you’ll get to see the reactions to who’s won homecoming royalty and just have a nice and (maybe) slightly awkward convo with your date. No convo with dad, though. The mom one still happens.
I’ve considered it, but then it hardly matches with both of them (not just Dylan) being sad and uncomfortable when you gather at your place to leave for the event. And also how Olivia apparently gave MC wrong time for the event, that nearly made them miss the whole thing (which i’m guessing was the intention) something that clearly(?) wasn’t any part of the plan, with how the others were surprised by it.
I’m not excluding possibility there was some of that, but i doubt it was all that simple. Interestingly enough, you can see Olivia show this kind of attitude, “It’s not my place to tell people how to go about their life” during the homecoming, but i have to wonder if this is a view she’s had from the start, or only developed as a coping mechanism after the whole creep drama. She certainly wasn’t this passive and fatalistic originally when she’d get herself involved in defending people from bullies.
I feel like Mom would be happy that we didn’t immediately go scorched earth on the school.
I hope if we punched our dear old dad, we can explain to mom why we did it…after all, despite not really knowing how to react, she was the only one in our corner. If nothing else, we could pick up some duct tape and tarps and pay dad a final visit…
She’d slowly wreck his life, I think. That’s what she did to the exes.
@Shakka
Isaac and Olivia are the only two you can be intimate with (beyond a kiss, if that’s what you mean by intimate) thus far. You need to be their homecoming date and spend time with them after (so no big creeping, I think). Unsure if Isaac is only for FeMC or both, Olivia I think is for both MaMC and FeMC.
out of curioustity, what are the requirements for the intimate scenes with the characters?
If after all the flirting and other blatant stuff Isaac does in Chapter 4 it was still somehow in doubt, Isaac doesn’t gender-discriminate, yes.
Finding that out requires pursuing Isaac (I don’t have the code in front of me atm), so…
There are so many things that got my interest, I can’t wait for the early demo to be available.
I can already see all the excuses our targets will come up with when making thier public statments. I wonder if we’ll be able to use something they say against them later on.
MC and dad going head to head is not going to end well, especially if we can escalate it and speaking of dark places, I wonder if we’ll see a flashback of their past interactions.
Follow up conversations means more interactions with everyone and more character depth, I love that.
I have a theory that mom’s surprise will be tied to our maid/butler coming to the school and even if I’m wrong, anything from mom can only be good.
More secrets for us to dig up and Dylan getting a new report? My curiosity is killing me.
Overall I would say that we’re being spoiled with greatness and this isn’t even the whole chapter. I’ll reiterate again, I trully can’t wait for the early demo to come out. Keep up the amazing work.
Came across this WIP by chance and I’m loving it so far! From what I can see so far, the main bullies are self-absorbed pricks who have zero remorse for what they did, so I’m not interested in knowing their reason(s) for carrying out the Tragedy and I just want to destroy them (preferably offing them if that is possible), since they’re wastes of spaces who continue to bully others for fun. Oh, and Mr Gibbs, too. As for MC’s two childhood friends who betrayed them, destroying their lives will suffice.
Likewise, I want to destroy MC’s dad life and everything he’s built for sweeping his child’s suffering under the mat to advance his career. I’m glad MC’s mom divorced that piece of crap and took MC away. My only complaint is why the MC’s mom have to inform him about MC’s moving back to Penden, especially if the MC has changed their name and surname. It would’ve been nice if that piece of junk never knew his child has returned for revenge.
Anyway, I really look forward to the next chapter.
Since dad seems to particularly dislike trans & nonbinary MCs (probably gay mcs too), I won’t be surprised if he says some horrible things in this convo. How is Isaac more accepting than him ![]()

Because Isaac isn’t a bigot, just a hater. Professionals have standards
Seeing “Isaac”, “Professional” and “Standards” in the same post does one point of psychic damage.
Okay so… During the Homecoming part of the game, I got Haley as my date it was great and all then we headed to some lake and we got… You know, busy. But My MC is scared and so I’m I, I know this sounds like a weird and very Mr Responsible question to ask by any chance was MC( if a male) wearing protection or at Haley took the pill or anything to avoid … Disturbances or is my MC in deep shit? ![]()
![]()
I think you’re confusing your dates. Haley will shut the door in your face if you so much as suggest any sort of prolonging the homecoming.
My bad, you’re right … IT WAS OLIVIA!! AND NOW MY MC OR WELL… IM FREAKING OUT I MAY HAVE PUT A BUN IN THE OVEN!! ![]()

Heyyy, @Lys, can you help me with Cecilly again? Lol
I think somewhere in your replies you mentioned a continuity error with Cecilly turning you down in public, by her request and then accepting your own invitation to the homecoming. Well, how did you manage to invite her in public? I tried to be friends with Michael and the group so they could help me and maxing her out at friendly, but she still turns me down, like i’m doing a publicity stunt. Does I need to play into a shy persona, so she doesn’t think i’m doing it for funsies? Also, doing the right choices, is it possible to kiss her or brush our hands in the roof?
I don’t really know what to do with her, cause i remember in a run i got she telling me, when we leave her at her house and I propose that we do something together again, she would be less bitchy towards myself. Then, in my last run, that I specifically pursued her and made us friends, she just laughs when I say the same thing
*if (((Popularity >= 16) or (homecoming_popularity >= 1)) or (hd_public = 1))
Your MC can’t be popular and/or have tried to campaign for the crown and/or tried to publicly ask out someone else. These are deal breakers, no matter how much Cecily might like the MC.
I apologize if things got a little muddled. The scene I was referring to asking Cecily publicly was if you got her to Friendly status. This one will always end up as a no, though choices can mitigate it. This doesn’t count for the other public scene which can happen, and I don’t recall how I got that to work.
@fsix Has the details above this post.to get the other asking out working.
Oh, thanksssss. So if I manage to not be overtly popular or campaign she would be down to it even if i don’t call Michael or the others to help me with it?
