Heroes Rise Trilogy Appreciation Post (Spoilers)

Hi I’m new here and this is my first comment and I’d like to say that the Heroes Rise story is my favorite game on my phone and as we all know it’s hard too find a good mobile game.

P.S how do I get the Jenny love?

You have to be a lesbian, and be patient.

I don’t know if its because of the age difference or because she’s your case worker but the romance doesn’t actually gel until game three, it’s basically express interest in the first game, start to get somewhere in game two, and finally win her over in game three.

So to clarify, if im a male character there is no possible way to get with Jenny, and Prodigal always dies at the end :*(. Oh well, Black Magic it is.

I didn’t really enjoy The Prodigy all that much, and The Hero Project was just okay in my opinion, but HeroFall BLEW ME AWAY! It’s definitely one of my favorite CoG titles. The character development and closure is amazing, the plot is fantastic, and the writing (not that it wasn’t always pretty good) and “making choices matter more” aspects have definitely improved.

I definitely feel like being railroaded through the first two volumes was worth this epic finale, and it feels like everything was always leading up to this.

I agree with @Samuel_H_Young - although a lot of the choices in the first two games aren’t really ‘choices’, it’s totally worth it for HeroFall. For me, it was worth the near year-long wait and sulking over the loss of my powers and not knowing if my Black Magic was okay (not that that’s all I spent a year doing). I definitely know that HeroFall is going to stay on my phone and I’m going to be playing it a lot.

Thanks for completing the series =)

It’s one of the first CoG I purchased from the Play store. I kinda wished I could’ve saved Prodigy. Hmm, I’m glad that we’re able to save everyone at the end.

Am I the only person who thought we’d go and start our own superhero league? Or go all Batman and be a loner hero with a dark past.

@stsword it’s late but thx for the info

The best interactive fiction i’ve read so far, and by much. Thanks to Sergi! Also perfect for the COG debut on Steam. And i agree with many, HeroFall is the best of the three, not only well written but managed to be original (not that the Project wasn’t, but still)

Anyone have tips on how to be a martyr in heroes fall and ultimate badass in prodigy?

Can we have reconciliation with Black Magic at the end if you refused to help him? :anguished:

Great third game after a disappointing second game, for me anyways.

I felt like a really bad-arse in that game at the end. The American protectorate? Pfft, didn’t break a sweat. Black magic appearing? Off to orbit you go. Loved it.

That is a WONDERFUL IDEA!

More of this please!!!

Prodigal easily became my favorite even in book one. and by the final book I laughed I cried I even became slightly obsessed with Chickens. Overall I am so happy when he said he would be keeping the universe alive, maybe one day it will be on par with DC/Marvel.

"Your world needs a great defender.

Your world is in the way of harm.

You want a romantic life, a fairy tale that’s full of charm.

Beware that the light is fading.

Beware as the dark returns.

This world’s unforgiving, even brilliant lights will cease to burn!"

Agreed, good sir.
