I unlinked my google ac but dat didnt seem to do it.
I think you have to delete all your posts, otherwise the “delete account” button doesn’t show up. Or you could also ask an admin to do that.
But I’m not sure, maybe someone else can help you better.

ty! imma try to remove everything and see. The thingy is that I can’t remove main posts like the one in this thread.

I do not believe we can delete accounts. Apologies. The best you can do is delete as many posts as you want.
I won’t be able to move on unless this account is removed forever. Not only that, my anxiety won’t allow me to be normal knowing this account is still running. I’m just not comfortable with that.
I don’t understand why Cog will not allow that even tho almost every site allows that. I never had this issue with any other site. Even just removing posts is pain since I have to wait a whole day just so I can remove some posts.
Oh and I did have a thread up and I can’t even remove it due to that I don’t have permission to do it, it will forever be there and that alone makes me stressed out.
The account can still be up if there is no way around it but pls someone help me clear all the history of it like I never posted before.
Hi @Printesa_Carmilla - this is a part of the DIscourse forum software issue rather than a choice made by CoG or the moderators.
Threads that are unlisted are not visible to other forum users and are not searchable; neither are any posts within them.
I’ve unlisted the ChoiceScript Help thread that was previously listed; this current topic and the posts within it is now the only one that comes up under this profile - you can see this by logging out of your account and going to your profile.
If you would like, we can also anonymise your account so that the posts in this thread, and your profile, are not under this name and are instead under “anon” with a randomly-generated string of numbers.
This thread itself can also be unlisted so that it’s no longer accessible, searchable on the forum, or linked to this account.

ahh I get it.
The thing is that while the thread is unlisted anyone who posted there or had link to the thread can still view it and even send it to other ppl. I even can still see unlisted threads cuz someone once sent me a link to them.
but I understand now that it is out of cog hand. So sorry for the annoyance.
My problem was more of my main post of the demo on the thread that ppl I know can still view it and read it more than the account itself.
But it’s okay I guess its just something that I have to live with but thank you all for trying and making me understand
