i tried to install it on my mac but i dont get it installed
Did you download the MacOS installer from the official website and did you run it?

I’d highly recommend using either one of a couple of popular community development tools on the forum:
- New Choicescript extension for VS Code (2.0 now runs games!)
- [CSIDE] The ChoiceScript IDE - #1567 by CJW
They take a lot of the initial complexity out of setting up a ChoiceScript development environment and make it easy to “just get started”.
