@Phantomblade You need to copy-paste your code exactly as it is, indentations and all, for us to be able to help you find problems with it. You can do this by putting three ``` above and below your code, or by using the </> button in the box where you type your replies.

Right off the bat, *finish brings you to the end of your chapter/game. Is that what you intended?

Based on simply reading what you posted. Despite not putting it in (```) i can tell it’s messy and all over the place.

I may be mistaken of course. But i copied what you posted and gave it a quick work.

I presume THIS is what you were looking for. If not, it still serves as an example of sort. May as well play with it.

I thought about adding pagebreak but didn’t for some reason.

Page break is good to keep stuff organized. At least for me, i use it a lot.

It’s also used to prevent those wall’s of text.

In any case i recommend going through Choice Script Wiki(clicky, click) if you’re staring with it for the first time.

There is also a useful topic over here.

thank you I don’t no what you did but it worked. I read the wiki and my plan was to sea what I can do using only *choice and *finish unfortunately i ignored every thing else and that was my downfall.

You’re welcome.
And that’s alright, we all make mistakes. I am far from good myself, lot’s of reading yet to do! But practice does wonders.

I almost forgot, but i would recommend CSIDE. Which you can find right here.

I started myself with this, and we’re best friends right now! Aside of neat interface, it also helps with indentations. There are also tutorials within this small gem of a software. It’s easy to start with, and get familiar with.

Hey thanks for the suggestion about that scripting tool but I can’t manipulate it to where I want to with my screen reader so I guess I’m going to have to deal with this the hard way.
