I think you broke an if check in chapter one with this update. At label rileyvisits with vice = 3 I get the paragraph ““Welcome back to the… land of the…” Riley’s words falter as Jordyn groans in the bed next to you. The blankets shuffle and you feel her hand slip up your body. Jordyn lifts her head above the blanket. “…living.” Riley finishes.” and then the fake choice menu under one of the Clifton options - all the flavour text in that if block is missing. I suspect the if pasthookup is case sensitive.
You also have a check for jordyn instead of Jordyn in chapter 2.
I’ve been holding off on locking in who I want to romance because every RO is interesting in their own way and it’s making it such a struggle to decide haha… With this most recent chapter I thought I would commit to choosing Rebel because of their quirky personality and the fun way they speak, but the drama of an ex-childhood best friend/lover that cheated on and drugged the MC is right there I CAN NOT wait to rub the godhood in their face… Also what do you MEAN your first words to MC after 5 years are “Oh jeez”??! Somewhat surprised bro didn’t say “gee whiz” or “gee willikers” instead
Okay, I just sent the hot fix, so the bugs should be gone and everything should be good. Saves may be disrupted, sorry!! If you get anymore, let me know!
That’d be a perfect addition. I’ve went ahead and added it to my version, but I won’t be updating the game with it until the next time I post a hotfix or update. So it might be a while, but absolutely! I also added the way you release your anger (Aggression, crying, numbness, or self-harm,) because that’s also good to add there. Thanks for the suggestion!
Dame doesn’t act out if you’re not romancing them. I hope even if you don’t romance them they still come across as jealous, but not aggressively so. That’s my intent at least. Whether or not others see it like that I’m not sure.
Only one. I do count how many get picked, just so I can maybe use it in the future. But I currently have no plans to, I’m just keeping my options open. but only a single romance/heart choice starts the romance. Romance choices naturally have more romantic sections, of course, so if you’re going down someone’s romance I suggest still picking them.
But anytime a scene changes depending on romance it’ll always be: if (romance amount) > 0
So if the romance amount is 1 or 100 it’ll give the same reaction.
Minor gender issue: end of chapter two if you walk in on the interview, the paragraph describing hair has a hardcoded “his” that wants swapping with “his” variable
Not read update. What I saw looked like anger/displeasure and not jealousy.
I prefer Riley thus far.
Then again. Barely got much interaction with many of them. Not really wanting to get involved with the two with a kid to give them two a chance.
Bartender seems friendly. Zeus seems the desire to own. The others seem hateful/spiteful/annoyed/standoffish. Then Riley, the bubbly playful one that is/isnt innocent.
