I changed my phone from a Samsung Galaxy to a newer model SG because it was quite literally falling to pieces, and after transfering everything from one phone to the other some apps have disappeared. One I was able to download easily enough, but the COG forum app was nowhere to be found in play store. Strangely enough, after restoring my browser windows one of them was for the forum, which wasn’t there before. Does anyone know what’s up or if there’s something I could do? It was a commodity, but still.
To my knowledge, there never has been a CoG forum app in any app store. I got the app on my screen when I visited the forum and it asked if I wanted to add a forum link to my home screen.

It sounds like you added the forum to your phone home screen as a progressive web app (PWA). It wouldn’t show up in the Play Store because PWAs are installed through your browser.

Alternatively, maybe you installed DiscourseHub?
It’s a standalone app that will let you connect to the COG forums, or any other forum that uses the Discourse forum software. If you’re on multiple Discourse forums you can have them in one place.
