So to begin with, and maybe this was already known, but 2 Months ago I got a new phone for the first time in a bout 5 years. So in that time, I’ve downloaded and consistently used the COG and HOG application. That is to say, on Google Play, I would buy the game then go to the apps, register it to my account, and then play it from there. This way my games are always accessible (from the app, from the website and from my phone)
So my issue comes here, with my new phone, no game I buy can be registered to the apps. Before I factory reset my old phone and gave it away, I was curious, and I bought some new games and was able to register from that old phone. However since I no longer own that phone registering these games have become an issue.
So I guess, the question is, is there something I need to update? Do I need to register my new phone somewhere? Or does it still come down to sending an email? Thanks in Advance!
(I don’t need your email address. You might want to delete it from your post.)
If you sign in on the website, you should see a list of games you own. Any game that’s on that list, you can easily transfer onto your new phone. Any games you own that aren’t listed there, write to support@choiceofgames.com with some kind of proof of purchase, such as an app store receipt, and they’ll add them to your account.
I had the same issue when I got a new phone. Just sign in on the Choice of Games website, and you should see your games there. If not, you can email support with your receipt, and they’ll help you out.
Yes so those games are fine in that were added previously are fine. The issue is adding new games.
Heres a screenshot with me trying to register Scales of Justice on the Application. The device its trying to check for is not my current one, but my previous one.
So had I still had my old phone, I could register this application, however since I’m using my new phone its saying its not installed on the device.
Before I gave my old phone away, I did check to make sure it was the case.
