Up to now, I seriously don’t know who’s worse, or who’s the ultimate devil. On one hand, you have Aeron who is basically getting on your nerve at every single moment, and stealing every one of the MC’s crush and potential lovers, on the other hand, Karl gives me a somewhat impression that he’s trying to get every one of his heirs fighting against each other, until all sides are exhausted so he can place Soniya’s son on the Golden Throne. Then, you have the MC’s grandpa, the old goat who is using both Helena and the MC for his political gains and controls.

i have important question.
who will dare to support in their cheating by cucking mc if mc is crown prince or emperor (even if mc is prince)?(specially cruel one or mixed and their whole family will be at risk after that.)
my mc will literally kill whole family of person who try to cuck him.
and there will be questions on their child too and mc can literally kill them for that. that will be stupid and sucidial move.

he needs to do a lot if he wants james nerd ass to sit on the throne cause obviously being the crown heir is not enough given the fact that the other heirs can rebel. james is like the least possible candidate to sit on the throne based on the fact that even the support of the goldstones is not secure for him
Oh I think Helena is very possible to betray the mc especially if her daddy says so. Maybe not in malicious way but if Stefon convices her that the mc is misguided and it’s for their good or that it somehow threatens catalina and the whole family (the mc’s kids etc.) she may agree to act against us, but she would never agree to something that will hurt or kill us.

Here is the old art if the new folks here didn’t see it before.
I tried to change the guards’ color from blue and silver to gold and red and failed miserably.
The new imperial guard armor is a lot different from the one shown here. (This is the old one.)
The fashion for women is a lot different too, so this is the old dress. You will see the new dresses in the new art.

It seems more like an unfortunate expression than anything else, the lad could have said “we will better keep an eye on Kella” and none of this drama would have popped up, seems like an communication error.
Regarding all the Kella debate, I think you guys are exaggerating, yes of course this is a feudal era and friendships/relationships cannot be understand on the same way.
Kella owes her foremost loyalty to her family and is bound by the feudal system to heed their demands as well as persue the common ambitions/objectives they can have, on this case marry the most influential guy you can come across, that’s not being a “gold-digger” is just being filial and obedient as her family has taught her since little, alliances carved by marriage and securing a good future as a consort.

Yep but she would make use of any opportunity to advance said objective.
At this point Kella is just getting to know us and every feeling can develop with time, her loyalty to us as a retainer or her being our best friend is not something to take for granted, the board changes at every interaction as do the players.

The retainer loyalty thing does make me laugh like common guys that might have been on paper on a historical standpoint (the ‘wow I am far too powerful for being betrayed as none would abandon a Prince/Princess’ is really funny) but on actual practice retainers would and will betray whoever if it benefits them.
Does court intrigue tell anything to all of you? Perphaps Kella is not that kind of person but people betraying us specially due to the spheres of influence we find ourselves in is as common as eating or breathing.
