Aside from himm I love what you got so far in terms of story and side characters, cant wait to play more.

I don’t think the MC is weak to begin with … the actual myths involving the MC backgrounds are all powerful creatures to begin with.
We don’t know who was the mother of Thor’s three children yet, so they may only be demigods
My speculation is that we are establishing our domains there in Iceland and our power will grow when we are there.
Technically in the story so far, the MC is on their back-foot because Thor’s children know us, but we do not yet know them.
I also have a feeling we will be fighting the “monster” in us (the urge to feed on humans) all through the first half of the story (or more) and I have a feeling this will define our power as we grow in strength.
All this is my speculation, so take it with some salt

This demo was so good. I also opted for the ‘mermaid’ origin. It’s so good turn off my MC’s killer instincts drinking coffee . It’s me IRL, in the morning.
Also I’m very curious about the ROs, because the intro post only have the RO descriptions. I have no idea of how the dynamic of their relationships with the MC will be. Please, don’t make all ROs hating/trying to kill the MC

Katla is quite nice. I like dynamic between her and my adorable, a little crazy Skogsrå. Also I feel like Mare can be an ally rather than enemy.
So only gods… I-I’m not afraid of them, let them get close and I’ll kick their asses!

Before i play your demo (because after this post i just Gotta), let me congratulate you on writing one of the most intriguing synopsis I’ve ever read on here and lemme tell ya, thats a difficult high to reach with amount of amazing writers around here (ive been here for at least 3 years and played through hundreds of ifs). Yours has to be near the top of most original ifs ever written. I mean, cmon, Iceland??? You genius bastard! Dont get me started on the character blurb. Just reading this much about them tells me how much thought youve put behind developping them and lets me ascertain that youre an experienced writer from the get go. Congrats, your skills are fucking amazing.
Now, i believe after all those compliments, its time for me to try your if.

When I found the tumblr back when it was just a summary of the plot, I was intrigued because it ticked all the right boxes but I was also resigned to the fact that it might be another flash in the pan, “here’s the plot and characters now as me questions” blogs. Still, my interest was so piqued I followed anyway just in case this IF might really turn out to be gold. And I’m glad I stuck around because this demo was so goddamn good. Like, you know a story is GOOD when you go back and explore each choice again and again to see what the other options are. Seriously, it reads beautifully. And like all good IFs, my heart was crushed when I reached the end. An amazing demo!

Thank you so much for this WIP. I have always been a sucker for norse based stories. Well written and interestingly placed in a modern setting. I hope you continue with this project, I can definitely see it being very popular. Played the mountain spirit path, now I have to go back and play the other two.

When choosing to be a guardian of the mountains, i choose to have pointed teeth but the beginning of the next page starts with describing hooven feet then goes to the description of the pointed teeth.

Demo has been updated to fix the handful of bugs (hopefully!), added in some more name options (6 female, 6 male, and 6 for non-binary MCs), more makeup options, and the choice to have 2 hobbies - as discussed above.

I am just curious about something. There is one choice that’s grayed out, and you can’t choose it, it just before we have our first encounter with one of the other characters. Does that mean it is a branch that isn’t done, or it requires certain choices to be clicked on? I am just wondering so that I won’t have to worry about something that is actually not something to worry about.

It’s a branch that isn’t yet complete! Similar to meeting Magni at the bookstore or Thrúd at the diner, the port will be where you can meet Modi 
I’m doing some rewrites on it because I wasn’t quite happy with it compared to the other two, it should be up within a week or two!

Looking forward to seeing where this IF goes. We need more where we get to be the “monster”. Even if it is trying to be human ((or not)). The ones we get are normally all vampire or werewolves. Not that theres anything wrong with that! Its just, thats all we get.
But you, author! Dove straight to mythological monsters. And of all the pantheons went Norse. 
This is gonna be amazing, i can feel it.
