Guess they had to pick themselves up a little after what they had been through. And they were probably much more paranoid than ever - better to take it slow than risk ending up in hell again.
Oh I have no doubt about their mental and physical state.
Iâm just wondering how the farm deal with run away. Like what is their protocol?
If everything is hush hush, thenâŚwhat do they do?
You have to take into account that Sidestep is a telepath, has escaped twice and therefore knows how the Special Directive works. There is definitely a protocol, but it is of little use if the other side knows about it as well. Sidestep used successfully the Special Directive to steal the Rat King.
Personally I think #1 seems more scared of the MC, while also being more knowledgeable about the MCâs abilities. #2 seems more scattered and less sure about who the MC is exactly.
My theory is that #1 is an Ace with a high individuality stat, since during the first two games you can really play the puppet as being terrified of their boss. I could see some of those feelings carrying over when they âwake upâ.
I am not sure how benign the 4th impostor really is, considering she pounces on low-villainy stepâs hesitation to get answers and threatens themâŚand like-wise shoulder-bashes mortum while running in that scenario.
If anything it seems they respect cruel steps a tad more.
4 seems to be the opposite personality stats of your Step so funny enough it seems like a high villain Step get a more friendly 4 impostor. Still though itâs a bit too early to tell how much of a difference that will make
Here is a interesting line about the difference between 1 and 2
Vertigo. It makes no sense., you can sense no outside presence. Shards of Ace, of that youâre sure, but most of the shards reflect your own mind back at you. A clever defense, thereâs things you donât want to see inside yourself.
*if ip1
Weakness youâve hidden behind layers of strength. If nobody can see the cracks, they canât use them against you.
*else
Darkness. The temptation to just let go. Be the monster everyone feared you would become.
Theory.
1imp: high puppet individuality low scar, 2imp: high pup ind high scar, 3imp: low pup ind hig scar, 4imp: low pup ind low scar.
Just read the new demo and overdosed on too much peak fiction
the more I read the better it gets. Seriously though this imposter business is really interesting. Probably the thing iâm most excited about currently.
I wonder which exact stats and choices will determine which âimposterâ we get but like what others have said: 1/2 seem very likely to be Ace based on the dialogue using words like âSuckerâ whether or not you even find out the backstory or not. 4 is definitely to do with us that one is also really interesting to me. 3⌠iâm completely stumped on 3. I think i saw someone say heartbreak or something but honestly no clue⌠so exciting ![]()
Heartbreak or at the very least the gates are my current guess
Can someone explain the different choices of your puppet more for me because I donât understand what nr means and what is different between them?
Also, I need more save slots I always end up using every save slot in creating a character⌠![]()
The puppet will react differently after seeing MC waking up depending on which option you picked (with the exception of nr 1 and nr 2 which are somewhat similar)
There are different theories of who actually is inside the puppet, so far Iâve seen the ones that theyâre a) different people entirely (my guess is that theyâre either Ace, Heartbreak or MCâs split personality) or b) a case of MCâs personality being split in two and the puppet behavior being influenced by your stats
Also, a very small thing that I noticed about #4 is that they use the same swear word as MC. Is a bit strange seeing someone else going around saying âhellâ when swearing, but oh well
*Happy Holidays or Merry Chrismas @malinryden *
the best part is that it would fit him lol
Perfect
#3 seems to be more resistant to MCâs telepathic coercion than #1 and #2. HB would make senseâŚ
Not to mention the most unstable.
1+2 seem to be Ace
4 is a curveball.
I wouldnât be surprised if the imposter mystery isnât going to be revealed before the closed beta.
I wonder if the same four impostors will be in MCâs body. Iâm looking forward to demo for these paths.
Being stuck in a puppet will be a great angst
My Sidestep feels quite comfortable in the puppet, but he wouldnât want to stay in that body permanently, no matter how nice and flawless it is.
unless of course, we find a way past the whole limitation of said body. I mean, what if we can possess the body and keep our powers as well?
