I really hope that does not end up happening in the future, I’m really not a fan of the clon theory, I’d prefer the Sidestep is actually a human baby kidnapped that got tattooed as re gene or a human of whatever age that got the tattoos to be the truth than the clone one.

I use it just to differentiate from re gene and human, in the clone theory the body is most likely re gene, unless the two theories end up being right.
I don’t call re genes humans mostly because Sidestep doesn’t, that’s the main reason.
Not being the Original is why I mainly don’t like the clone theory though.

Its a Good Anime, the music is amazing and while it has flaws, it’s good.

I just remembered (The above peeps were talking about the Mentor of Ortega, the Marshal, and what could have happened to him), and the theory was HG brainwashed him and is using him. That just reminded me of an episode in Naruto, where the 2nd villain used the Sharingan (Eye powers) to take over a leader of a village to the point of changing their whole reputation.
Totally not the same. The Sharingan are eyeballs powers and have limitations.

And i dont think farm will bother with scars replica (and there was scars not only on the face) and for trans Steps - hormonal therapy changes. Theory about kidnapping making more sense, it most logical. Lots of hints here and there and everything has already been said here. Find appropriate speciment, wipe their memories, brand them with full body ''not human" sign. Force them to believe that they are less and doesn’t deserve anything. Mold them to be convenient. Its very realistic when someone dehumanize you for personal gains and needs. And the moral of the story will be that no matter how they tried to remake you, it’s not gonna work. Only you can remake youreself. Even if you indeed been raised in the jar where does that dreams\memories came from. I doubt they would purposely imprint them on just tool or didnt make a precautions for that. But it also doesnt matter cause if you can ask questions - you are human and the way farm treat you is nuts. I think theres gonna be many possible paths to discover your origins, maybe even optional. There are already many, so many that you wouldnt know everything just playing one\two ways. For me, a person who cant choose rude\mean options in games - FHR only exception. I got the puppetmaster scar on my blind run and I stick with it for my main MC, it fits perfectly. I have a second MC with it and one MC with the outsider scar.
I’m curious why the suicide scar was discontinued. Sorta. It still exists but it has to coexist with a second scar.
Although, given the subject matter… yeesh, don’t want to imagine the headspace needed for that.
That was because it still exists as a tag, which can be combined with other scars. I saw more utility in it as it’s own thing, it was a bit limited as just a heartbreak scar.
