And I second that notion that I will burn down the entirety of Los Diablos if Ortega dies trying to protect my MC.
I would assume that Steel and Anathema would be in on it but at least a little flavor text would be nice beforehand if you and Ortega are lovers at the time of the heartbreak sequence.

Mama Ortega was hinting that they thought you would settle down with Ortega and she was happy they found someone. Not gonna lie, really bracing for that scene in book 2 where you have to turn out to not be her deceased child…
And damn no one has written any fanfiction yet?! Come On, that means the HR fandom has us beat by a whopping five articles.

It seems for interactive fiction fanfiction is in short supply. I’ve seen a few Samurai of Hyuga ones around but nothing else. I would write some myself but I’m far too shy to ever share and really don’t have that kind of confidence. And well I can’t draw

I wonder what a Ortega who didn’t romance the MC but was just friends with them did. There was an option where you were in love with Ortega but afraid to tell them, I wonder if they actually knew that or were obvious to your feelings?
Also Ortega seem to have a crush on the MC no matter what (from the Argent dream scene), I wonder if they regretted not confessing to you before the heartbreak or doing more things together.

Yeah, it surprised me when I first started looking how sparse the fanfiction was in a community centered around writing…Maybe it due to comparing the writing between the fic and the Author since it’s the same medium.

@Frogs If you do the friend with a crush route and do the puppet date with them, Ortega confesses they always thought that something was there.

agree on everything that u said and despite them not being together i really think that ortega really does have really strong romantic feelings for the MC but doesnt know how to express it and vice versa! and i think its pretty damn obvious on ortega’s part xD boi cnt hide his feelings as for MC more of an enigma

It honestly looks good, I can’t draw bodies for anything to be honest. The human form eludes me… And honestly a large portion of the people who play the game are Female from what I can gather and besides it’s the MC so it’s never really a set gender to begin with.
I feel like Ortega is holding so much back from the MC it’s nuts. I feel like they honestly just wanna hold the MC and just tell them it’s gonna be alright ,but they know they would just get brushed off or worse:End up losing the MC all over again.

A scene I’d like to see in the next game is something like Ortega fighting the MC with the villain armor and suddenly some of it will get broken and the MC will lose conscious.
Then Ortega will see the naked body of the MC and both the villain’s identity will be revealed as well as the things on your body (If you really are a Re-Gene
What would Ortega feel like when they see you like that? Would they get angry at you for lying the whole time and become a villain? Maybe pity you for what you’ve been through? Or even keep you safely from the other heroes and later hug you?

thank you! i try though and yes anatomy and bodies are incredibly hard! thats true tho still i dont like forcing my headcannons on anyone so if i do end up liking the final outcome i want to make a guy version

I feel like I keep having to dream up justification for hurting the rangers for my MC. Cause I really can think of any that really match the motivation of I wanna how people the truth.
@Flaine1996 That scene is wayy worse if your character is on the suicidal side like mine was. I really hope I get to have that talk with Ortega later.

I got the impression MC is a little bitter and hurt towards Ortega for not somehow helping them. Not Ortega’s fault but just a sense MC not having many friends and the one friend they had couldn’t help and feeling let down because of it.

I got a line if you visit Ortega in hospital something like what makes you want to kick Ortega and then afterwards kiss the bruises to make things better. They both need hugs
