@Chopper as much as i love this idea and God how i do, i just cant see ortega doing it especially since they are a man/woman of integrity not until u have substantial proof of the farm and also i may be biased but i actually dont want the rangers to join us till we have substantial proof because i want them to still be the light to my dark but thats just me lol
It’s possible to make Ortega sympathetic to your villain. There was this speech scene where if you had a goal like revenge or revealing the truth they’d agree with you or take pity on you. Later you can see Ortega being reluctant to fight and asking Herald if they’re doing the right thing in the ending.
Just don’t kill anyone in the museum though, it will make Ortega your nemesis.

where my MC is like feeling the villain persona and is spiraling so bad that they may end up killing someone [prior to this they do not take a single life to fulfill there objective] to get to be the most imposing villain ever but my Puppet is looking at them and is saying this is not what we had agreed upon and looks at them with disgust and just is already planning there own methods to self destruct the MC with Dr. mortums help as well as leaving self destructive evidence to the rangers and my MC failing to stop them hoping that they could actually be stopped.
I can imagine me being like emperor palpatine and saying something along the lines of “join the dark side… we have chocolate chip cookies” way better then the raisin ones the rangers have

I did too and I wanted to get him suspicious but I don’t think I can unless I don’t kill anyone. Which is not going to happen for my MC because I am going for a dark playthough. But I hope I can get him suspicious in book two. But I wonder what would be better a suspicious reveal or a no clue reveal. What would devastate more.
