Herald yes(if you didnt kill anyone)
Steel maybe(he was in heartbreak too)
Argent Probably not (if she knows you invaded her mind)
Charge HELL YES (if you wern’t too much of a dick)
I think if you didn’t massacre the museum or killed people Ortega will support you for sure.
In the open character question thread Malin said Steel became a hero because it was better than fighting in the unjust wars overseas (and keep in mind that foreign wars are usually where the Special Directive deploys the Re-Genes).
So I think if he found out the horrible shit that goes on at the farm, he’d be sympathetic.
I feel like he would also feel more blame on his part due to him reporting us dead, and might feel like he sent us back to the farm himself.
OOOOH GIVE ME THAT BIT OF DRAMA
Imagine also Ortega finding that out. I wonder if they’ll blame him or not for unintentionally sending their partner down a very dark path :))
I do hope though we get to point out that the government isn’t clean at all and use it as a rallying cry to justify what the MC has done (whether sincerely or just as a means of control)
Well I doubt we’re the only REGENE with an actual conscious mind. And if we are something else that just further ingrains the fact the government is willing to exploit humans past what the ReGenes go through in order to advance theselves.

I’d love to see the Cthulhu fan club all toting around HP Lovecraft and wearing cultist robes to cheer you on in all the battles.
Icarus Like Mankind Divide
Echoes… I loved that Argent got some kind of feeling about my MC in her mind, lingering and fading like an echo… That plus I find echo is a good way to describe some memories you don’t want to keep but still haunt you… Whether it is my MC’s memories or the fact that Ortega is still hurt about him…
I also love naming my character Sidestep for obvious reasons (even in my anti hero playthrough, even if it is not what MC say, it could also means that you completely own everything that you ever done even back then). But mostly because I can screw with Ortega and Herald
Oh god forgive me for thinking this. What if a very manipulative MC is fighting Ortega as their villain persona and in the battle they knock off the MC’s helmet, and the MC falls to their knees and acts disoriented, as if just coming out of the effects of mind control? Making it seem like that the helmet or the suit itself was allowing another telepath to control them and make them fight against their friend? Obviously this probably wouldn’t work on anyone but Ortega and maybe Herald but god would it be delicious angst.
…I now want to name my villain persona Cthulhu…
Thought of that scene and I believe steel wouldn’t buy it. And even if they did buy it they would bring in another telepath to help assess the situation, and obviously, they would come up with negative results or get shredded going into our head. Also, the noticeable correlation between appearances and us being locked inside a cell would make it obvious considering we could get no inside help and couldn’t telepuppet anyone to do it.
True. That’s why I was sorta picturing the MC would be trying to line themselves up for a sucker punch to the ole Ortega. Just twist the knife and destroy their ability to trust.
I think it could actually fool Ortega and Herald. You can’t fool Argent or Steel and eventually get captured though. You could punch Ortega and avoid capture but they’d tell the others about you and your identity will be known. I’d say it would be a better idea to just tell Ortega the truth and ask them to not tell about you cause you’d be in danger, they’d probably agree to that as long as you weren’t really evil as a villain
Aww that’s sad to hear. I guess its effect was the opposite for me. I’m a sucker for conflicted, I-don’t-want-to-do-this-but-I-do types of characters and I just fell in love early. I have so many stories that I wish were payable and done, but I guess I had to wait and seeing as this was done (at least the first part) I was just too excited and bought it right away. hehe. Anyway, I hope more people would find this gem. It would be sad if they won’t.
@Ohmoo not gonna lie that is catchy as hell.
What were some memorable imagery that you guys recall from the game (I’m drawing fanart that kinda looks like a movie poster)
I mean, most of the dream scenes were pretty memorable, I think.
The Argent dream scene where you see Ortega all blushing when talking about you.
Also the scene where you make your debut as a villain and you can enter by exploding the van and looking all badass.
