Anyone know how to solve Basil’s second round of riddles? They’re real logic puzzles I assume but idk the names of them or how to solve them.

Solving the all the riddles correctly only awards an achievement, you’ll get the in game bonuses either way.

I do also love how Hugo and Anne seem genuinely troubled by the destructive power of the grapeshot cannon and meanwhile Rosie and my mc are practically salivating over how badass it is. You can really see the family resemblance.

Trying to decide if I should attack Huolong atm. Putting it under Jhou protection sounds like ceding territory to it. I want that sweet, sweet territory.

Also is there a way to remain loyal to the empire while ousting the king? I hate the guy, but I’m not really interested in being a turncoat.

There isn’t, although it does sound like a good idea now that you mention it. 
If this was raised during beta testing, I might have considered adding a path for it. Although pretty much everyone during beta testing was happy with the option to go independent. 
I’m probably not adding any major content updates to the game any longer… but it is a good thought.
