And in chapter 4 go to the castle tour BEFORE going to the Mage’s guild

The child hood freind we meet when we are young? Well while we dont know exactly what happened while we are parted we do know she is a powerful adventurer whom has been looking for the MC at least based off the choices i made. While her rank is technically weak its known that she is stronger than it suggests she just doesnt care to get offically tested for the higher ranks. At least thats what i see suggested when playing through it.

Ah okay well we do know she was being treated would be interesting to know what her ultimate fate was. An likely something we might learn more of when we finaly reunite with our childhood freind or at least possibly do so would be my best guess.

Yep it’s true. The guys selling the item we made confirmed it. They were talking about a highly perspective adventure and she fits the bill. Shes been looking all over the place with no luck so far. She really wants to go on an adventure with us like she said when we were younger. Anything could happen when the MC and our friend cross paths, it’s been years after all and people can change in that time

This is one of my favorite WIPs. I really enjoyed the world-building and the amount of choices offered in the game. Being able to play as a dragon is so unique and fun.
I did notice that in chapter 3, if we choose to just walk around in Evernorth, there is a POV change after meeting Caesar. When Nyx asks “And how did that go?”, Caesar’s response was cut and the POV shifted back to the MC at the inn. It looked like some of the dialogue was skipped over.
Either way, I look forward to future updates.

You made me create a CoG account with the sole purpose to favorite this book, it’s just that good.
One of the few books where I really felt and I mean FELT the impact of my choices and had to put actual thougth into them (I had a hard time picking between getting the chance to meet the draco of the MCult but letting Tanya face the beasts on her own, or saving Tanya but losing the opportunity to meet MCult draco) instead of “hmm, which flavor text do I like better”?
This might be controversial but I actually liked the way you use time to limit the player’s choices.
Loved that you get to pick the MC’s general behavior because I’m someone who gets really pissed when I’m trying to be a good bean™ and the MC just acts like an ass for no good reason, or the other way around, I’m trying to be an evil bean™ and the MC acts like a wuss, but I also get that having the player pick each of the MC’s individual lines of dialogue would be pretty overwhelming for both the creator and the player, so that was a really smart workaround.
The story itself is pretty engaging, what I like the most about it is that something that looks like it came out of nowhere makes complete sense if you pay attention to the story (like when you get attacked by what’s-his-name if you try to fly to the castle with the draco, if you didn’t pay attention to the fact he was fighting right by the castle it will catch you by surprise, but if you did you can figure out that’s probably what will happen and it will be very rewarding when it does) It’s a kinda power fantasy and it’ll probably turn into a full-on power fantasy eventually, but maybe there’s a path where it doesn’t, that’d be interesting

I just noticed that our adventurer friend Thorin is gender flipping in the village we ran away to after being discovered in the forest. It’s just breaking the story narrative a bit so can u please fix it

Just looked at the Locations tab for the first time and the “Also sometimes there’s dragons” under Brighton took me out! I’m looking forward to seeing more of how the people and world are reacting to the events of the story

The archery contest makes it seem that the hunter has some skill with a bow but there is a dedicated skill for using a bow. Maybe the hunter should start with some skill with the bow?

This is one of the best fantasy WIPs I have read in a while. I liked that Pov changes show different characters’ thoughts about what’s going on in that current moment. I enjoyed everything from making a new friend to where the story ends for now. I’ve been searching for a fantasy book with adventurer guilds and rankings for a while. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the journey that the MC will have.
