Dragon Kin (WIP)

Pssst spoiler… I didn’t gave names because of it…

There the first actually. The abyssal, MC is god of death that betrayed by their siblings and close friend/lover and sealed.

Supernatural MC is child of God of Death, big daddy own his own universe but only revealed in supernatural 3, anyway MC is not the only one with unique circumstances, other RO is equally interesting as well.

And yes the second one is monster evolution.

Love this IF! A few more save slots would be most classy. But the story is a 10/10 for me!

Is there going to be a choice in doing the tournament of the archery?

Same I wanted my mc to almost appear angelic when seen from a distance and Silvers are my favorite metallic dragons in D&D.

I loved the old Steel Dragons. Definitely not the new versions.

Oh and the old Faerie Dragons, none of the new versions.

Edit: Ugh! Ok.

ALL the old versions are better.

Green had ACID! Much more imposing and dangerous. Poison in DnD is almost pointless.

Lol i posit poison in dnd can have meaning if applied in the right situation.

Thats why I mentioned almost. It can be fixed. Getting rid of poison immunities and such.

I personally would prefer Acid over Poison breath weapon. I could imagine the acid cloud pouring down off the mountain into that village. Far more effective against those guys weapons and armor too. The Master reads the scout note. “Everything is a pool of guk and muk. We have a better chance to withstand lightning from the South!”

Since MC is not common dragon there is a chance MC probably develop affinity for different element later.

I certainly hope that’s the case since as much as I love the frost powers, the lightning element seems to be very powerful, at least that’s my impression based on the end of the latest chapter.

Since it seems that the lightning element is the only element where you can force the dragon hunter to summon a demon/devil for you to fight while he escapes.

Lightening and metal. That makes sense. Unless hunters use certain types of soles, then it would be nothing. I was holding onto a live circuit, wasn’t aware. Didn’t feel anything as I was protected by the wood I was standing on. The three 30 amp fuses all blew immediately. If I were just standing or had a different position. I would have died or severely injured if not. 1 amp is enough to kill humans. Voltage will just tickle without amperage, no matter the amount of volts, its the amps. 10k Volts 0 amperage (impossible) but wouldn’t hurt. The highest amperage feeds are technically smaller voltages. 480 V usually 30 is average to 60. However, 200 to 250 V usually doubles the amperage. 120 V tends to be down a lot, and 24V tends to be higher than 120 V but somehow safer to touch.

Yes, lightning is bad, but it isn’t the element to beat all elements. It is all I am pointing out on. Extreme Heat that can melt metal very quickly is just as bad as being killed by electricity. Extreme Cold, if not covered properly could kill quickly as well. Putting one element over another, I feel is disingenuous to how dangerous others are. Acids even have, relatively safe acid versus highly dangerous acids.

We shouldn’t see this in game where one is better than the other. Especially on how things can be countered too. Plus, dragon breath is usually magical in nature and defies a lot of known elements. (Except that dumb dragon movie they had. Idiotic.)

I like the frost power. I hope it’s strong enough to freeze enemies and shatter them into pieces . Plus I feel like you could use it for other things than just fighting. Like cooling down burns or preserving food longer. Probably won’t be able to do it in the story, but I like to imagine my character uses it for other things too.

It’s actually bad to use ice and frost to try cooling down a burn. Fire Fighters actually tell people not to do that.

Yeah each element is dangerous in their own way, however in a practical setting lightning would still be the most dangerous. Let me explain, but first off I am admittedly not too sure of everything we can do with our powers in the story so I am going to just go off a few things we generally see with these types of powers.

Starting off with frost, we can change the weather off the surrounding area as we see when we first get that power, shoot icicles, make walls of ice and other things. If I try to freeze an opponent or shoot icicles at them they can dodge them if they are fast enough, and if they are wearing a thick coat then me changing the weather or freezing them either won’t work or will be much harder to accomplish.

Secondly fire, I imagine the powers we could use with this element will be generally the same as frost where instead of icicles it’s fireballs and instead off a wall of ice it’s a wall of flames. fireballs can still be dodged, and fire is certainly more destructive than ice/frost, in a one on one fight I would rate them as being on the same level. But if you want to tear down an entire city fire is the way to go.

Lastly lightning, you can create storms, shoot lightning bolts, and in some cases electricity can also magnetize certain metals. What would make lightning powers the deadliest in a fight is it’s speed. According to Met Office (which I am not to sure how reliable this info is, I am still going to use it) lighting itself travels at around 270,000 mph or 434522.88 km, which would make a lightning bolt impossible to evade normally and taking into account that as far as I can tell in the story every fighter wears metal armor, well it doesn’t matter if they want to block it they are going to get hurt real bad. While there are certainly ways to mitigate that damage it’s still going to hurt and leave lasting damage.

Yeah it is faster. I haven’t used the fire in game at all. So no clue what it can do.

Magical breath weapons, metal should melt. They do from Red Dragons, well, used to anyway. Again, hate the new dragons. Depowered.

Lightning is technically a form of fire. Hence the heat and magnetize.

It would be nice to use freezing breath to ‘freeze’ food for later and what not. Use fire breath to help cook or make metalworks.

Charge up batteries to use power. Batteries definitely are able to be created and have been created long before tech needed it.

Fire have more destructive power than lightning, while lightning is more like piercing targeted strike type fire is blunt indiscriminate sledgehammer, i get impression that ice is more like sweeping versatile area of effect.

I thought Black Dragons had an acid breath weapon in 5e.
