Did an issue pop up today, @dashingdon?

I was able to log in just now, but when I attempted to add a new game, I got the white screen of death with “This page isn’t working dashingdon.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500.”

If other folks are having success adding games, perhaps it’s an issue on my end.

Do you have another game currently uploaded from your account by any chance?

I think Dashingdon doesn’t allow the same account to have two games uploaded simultaneously as I had to create a second account to be able to upload my most recent WIP without deleting my previous project.

Thanks for the suggestion! I did have CCH3 hosted, so I just deleted it and tried again to create a new game, and…I just got even weirder error messages with lots of “Deprecated” and “Warning” text.

I’ll just be patient and wait. But yeah it’s not gonna work for me tonight, apparently.

Should be fixed now - I disabled some options in the create game code for a quick fix. Some options will have to be set in editing the game instead of at game creation. I’ll get this properly fixed as soon as I get time to figure it out and patch it up.

Whenever i double click a choice this bar slides over the screen which is annoying

In dashingdon this just happened in choicebox but in moody.ink the entire screen has this bar

Is there a way to delete scenes from a game via dashingdon directly? For some reason there are two of the same file names in my dev build version of my game, instead of it just overriding the old one.

There is not currently a way to delete scenes directly. You can overwrite them but some browsers will reference the browser cache instead of the server in some cases. If you need something delete then please message me here with the details.

I tried uploading a test project and got an error the command “create_array” was not found.

I’ve tried uploading some sample .txt files to my DashingDon account but I keep getting a 404 error. I’ve seen some stuff about username character case issues. Maybe that’s the issue. Need help.

Can I get some help retrieving my account? I can’t seem to access my old DashingDon account where I posted a game, and when I tried creating a new account it said my previous username was available & never used before… However, my game and old username still ‘exist’ on DashingDon.

It has been quite a few years, so maybe accounts get deleted after some time? Either way I’d love some help retrieving my .txt files.

Help… Is it just me or the save features in any game i play in dashingdon couldn’t function properly as in i couldn’t save the progress, it says something like

What browser are you using? You’ll see this message if you’ve run out of local storage space in your browser (unlikely, though not impossible). You might also see this if your browser doesn’t support local storage or has it disabled. From the UI, I’m guessing this on a mobile device?

Yes its on mobile browser… i try again and somehow i could save in the first 3 slot but if i try to save on the 4th and so on it will encounter the same error… and im already making sure that i allow my browser access to my storage… (well, at least now i could use 3 slot for saving my progress… better than nothing )

Same issue here… and yes, also on mobile. I’ve saved hundreds of games before just fine, but lately it won’t work most of the time.
