Yes, I intentionally didn’t update these last few weeks. I’m working on the first update (since Apr 5) and I hope to update it only once so as to minimize game resets.
Would using the new checkpoint save system choice script has not help prevent this?

Woo update. Also next book idea The next book cool be rpg style the Chimes person. Get to play through your awesome world, more magic, a potentially really good romance series between the gods.
