Crème de la Crème Discussion and Romance Guide (Spoilers Within)

Very broadly, I used 1920s Switzerland and Austria as a model for the mountainous bits of Westerlin, and parts of London (some suburban, some working class, some posh bits like Sloane Square) for the bits of Fenburg that you visit. Tech wise, you’ve got motor cars, steam trains, gramophones and rich people have telephones but phones aren’t super common.

I’ve got a Pinterest board with a lot of pretty fashion photos and illustrations on which I used as inspiration when writing. Take a look!

@RedRoses they’re not specific characters, but do feel free to headcanon! And thank you for the congrats

What choice of games says I can play as: (insert the typical choice games textbase description)

What my expectations in my fantasy world is:

All I want to do is to play a spoiled/naive/sweet heiress that is kind off aloof to her parent’s distress over their financial ruin. She doesn’t understand the gravity of it because she has always lived at the pinnacle of wealth and was kept away from the problems of the real world.

She goes to this school where she faces hardships and discovers her world is full of fake people, but that doesn’t stop her from falling in love with a forbidden boy who is and has the personality a total D-BAG.

He comes from a family of ancient money, and he always looks like he smells straight up of Chanel, Dior, and Hugo Boss. On the inside, he is just a sweetheart who is tired of the world he was forced to associate himself with, and he is also tired of trying to live up to the expectations of his family, and all he wants to do is to run away from it all.

Or just give me Chuck Bass as a Ro, and I’ll be happy.

What the let down of it all is going to be once I finally get my hands on the game: Probably a 1000% —> 0% cause it’s my fantasy land.

LMFAO  The game is an instant buy and Wednesday can’t come soon enough (I was waiting for the release of this game since it was a fetus). Also congrats on your game!

Since I have not played the Demo, because I did not want to spoil myself, I have been eagerly waiting. And it is so great. I think I have to have a lot of walkthroughs, since there are so many cool characters. Right now I am romancing Delacroix, so sweet. It is a wonderful game.

Who will accept a polyamorous relationship with a straight male mc?

The romance interests will romance an MC regardless of the MC’s gender. So if your MC is a straight boy, you can set the romanceable characters, or the ones you want to romance, to girls if you like.

I’ve made a post over on another thread going into more detail about polyamory, take a look!

This was a blast! It retains all of the charms from when the demo was posted last year. I liked the customization of the protagonist and it felt like I had a ton of choices throughout.

I love Freddie. My first playthrough I romanced Karson, but Freddie was perfect and I wish I could have gone back to choose that lil nerd. Absolutely my favorite character and genuinely the best boi/girl/person.

The twist with Karson genuinely shocked me. I was going to break things off with him after I made a scene at graduation; but I guess I misinterpreted the “talk privately to Karson” option. I wish I had an option to end things there since as much as I liked the romance, realizing that they knew the whole time and only cared to stop it after the student died and I was thrown into the mines was a dealbreaker for me.

I also had trouble with the stats. It was difficult to determine which options connect to which stats.

That’s fair with regard to Karson. There are some circumstances when you can break up with them before graduation, but I think you must have hit a thread without that. If I was doing it again I’d put a possible breakup in the post graduation scene, but it was just so complicated by that point!

Stats are a bugbear for me. If there were particular stats that were unclear I can try and give some hints for a future playthrough if you like!

I’m really excited that you enjoyed it and Freddie is a darling :sparkling_heart::sparkling_heart::sparkling_heart:

It’s going to take all my willpower not to play this before Sunday. I love Delacroix so much. I keep fighting the urge to be skeptical.
