If you ever want to play a game that just feels like a warm hug, you won’t find one much better than Witch’s Brew. Set in autumn in a coastal college town I’d dearly love to visit and full of characters I wish were my friends in real life, this game is just packed with cozy goodness. (Pro tip: get a pastry and a cup of your favorite warm seasonal beverage before you sit down to play.) The romances are delightfully sweet, but romance is entirely optional - you can focus on friendships and there’s just as much to explore and enjoy. As a magical-school story, it ranks alongside Freshman Magic, Way Walkers, and Professor of Magical Studies as a new favorite. I can’t wait to add this to my collection on Thursday.
