Coding Choice Games with a Chromebook or iPad without apps?

So… I can’t type on my phone and the iPad I can download apps on has a really anemic battery. Is there a way to code CoGs on a Chromebook or iPad without using apps? iPad is preferred, but I can do Chromebook in a pinch.
