No actually I havent. I wasnt sure what that was, and my goal is to sequence break this as little as possible so I was cautious lol

For all I knew my food was gonna end up poisoned

edit: OH COME ON IT WAS THAT SIMPLE???

Indeed, it was

Editing food shouldn’t break anything, your food will get poisoned in all scenarios where Breden is in your band

Ayo hold the fuck up

DID I GET HONEY TRAPPED???

Not really, I think Breden feelings to MC might be true after all, as Havie once said that she is attracted to his bravery(well, it’s not that hard to be brave when you’re main character steered by player and have saves). And well, it’s not really proven that she’s a traitor after all, it’s way more complicated and we’ll probably never get clear answer.

She gives you that code if you marry her, and I think she’s pretty well aware that you don’t buy her excuse for why she has that. I figure she’s the spy, but has grown to like you and the rebels so she’s betraying her masters.

It’s possible she’s the traitor the aztecs would seed malcontents to cause rebellions they could capture and sacrifice after all. If she is a traitor she’s definitely a conflicted one though

Problem with being a double agent is sometimes the cover becomes real.

I do think Breden is the traitor though. Too much smoke for there not to be some fire. The food poisoning only happens when Breden is in the band, there’s heavier casualties if you raid a merchant town she scouted than if someone else finds it, the Karagonds throw her into a cell with you instead of harrowing her when she denounced you for some bizarre reason. Plus the item comrade Lenin mentioned.

Yeah I’m not actually sure why there’s this whole “no clear answer” thing going on. Who else could it be?

Then again, I did come up with an alternative theory, namely that Breden is actually a rogue Cryptast and did legitimately start the rebellion. This could mean that the traitor is NOT a cryptast but an informant, someone who disliked her personally and cooperated to get rid of her. With her gone in the beginning, they no longer have any motivation to sabotage us.

20 bucks says that someone else is the spy and is just using her as an out. Nobody else would be such an obvious target to point fingers at when shit starts happening, and in routes she isn’t there the lack of someone to draw attention might be the cause of no issues.

Crackpot yeah but it’s just a bit strange the story would push us to be with them so much and then punish us for it…

And if I’m wrong well time to romance the cute swordsman noble XD

Oh I’m still sticking with her if she’s the spy. It makes for a good story if she turns to our side, and a cryptast would be a useful asset.

Hmm, speaking of Breden. Will it be possible to get rid of her/him in Xaos lands? Permanently, I mean. @Havenstone

I cant let that many people die on my conscious lol, if she the spy she gotta die

You people are no fun. Besides, no one dies if you play your cards right.

I’m assuming you mean running away choice? I’ve only done stand and fight so dont know sorry

I meant from sabotage.

if she’s the spy then good that means you can keep tabs on what she knows and compartmentalise information. Kill the spy and they’ll send another not even considering the effects on cohesion that paranoia about infiltrators and killing anyone suspected will have.

It starts with killing Breden on suspicion but where does it end.
