Were you talking about Hera and Persephone? if so, it’s honestly hard to tell.

With Persephone, there definitely a strained awkwardness in her first interactions with a Hades Bearer that isn’t there when she first meet a Zeus/Poseidon Bearer. It was stated in-game that very few people were in the know when it came to the knowledge of who the Bearer’s father was for a while, and considering that Hera was probably one of the many who were not aware, it might be safe to say Persephone may also have not know about Hades being the Bearer’s father for a good while. And if we go by Aeson’s own words, it took her a good while to warm up to the Bestower, who was a child at the time. It’s hard to tell what exactly Persephone is feeling when meeting the Bearer for the first time (who is much older than Aeson was when he first met Persephone), but the awkwardness of the situation is clearly not lost on her. That said, Hades Bearers have been confirmed to end up with a more strained relationship in the beginning with Demeter due to their origins, so that makes this particular Bearer stuck in awkwardness with two Goddesses for a while due to their birthright.

With Hera, well, she’s practically legendary for her intense dislike of the children born from Zeus’ affairs and has never been above tormenting them, so I wouldn’t be surprised about her being pissed off from the knowledge of the Bearer being Zeus’ child. But personally, I really like the idea that, for all her hostility toward Zeus’ Demigod children, it’s going to be a Bearer who isn’t his child that’s going to rile her up the most. Because as much as she may hate to admit it out loud, Hera may be used to the Zeus children to some extent and Zeus’ constant affairs. But Zeus being interested in a child that is not tied to him in any way? That must be a new kind of insulting for her and one she might not be able to deal with as effectively due to how new of a situation that is (which may even get worse if it turns out that Zeus DOES feel some form of familial affection for the Bearer, whether they are his child or not). That said, Hera does seem to have a intense dislike of the Bearer in general, and we have yet to know how Hera herself viewed the Bearer’s mother.

Well the bug with the hospital room is fixed, but ANOTHER bug shows up way later. Its when you are on your first trial and after you choose how to get your groups attention, you then click the button to continue that says “The jungle is undoubtedly beautiful.” you get “line 428: Not a number false” error. Any idea how to fix that?

Edit: This is the line in question apparently
*if (Calypso >=40) and (romancecalypso = true)

I’ve tried various ways to correct it; removing the parenthesis, the equal before true, before 40, adding a % after the 40’s, etc. Nothing works, still getting that error. So I just put it back the way it was.

On part 8 during the trial? If so, it doesn’t matter what you choose to get their attention. The following page when you click to continue will freeze your game and pop up with that error. So far I haven’t figured out how to get past it. Or do you mean how to get past the hospital room bug?

And very few stories that involve her taking a intense dislike toward a Demigod that is not related to Zeus, so it would certainly be interesting if it turned out she did have a higher dislike toward a Bearer who is unrelated to Zeus since, (no matter who their father is) Zeus is rumored to favor the Bearer and it was hinted in a earlier draft that he may possess some affection. And Hera has already proven she has a good deal of dislike toward the Bearer, though I’m in the mindset it wasn’t just due to the fact that she knew there was a chance the Bearer MAY be a child of Zeus.

It may not happen of course; there’s still a great deal about Hera (and the Gods in general) that we have yet to discover. For all we know, the real reason she tries to intimidate the Bearer the first chance she meets them is due to being the most fearful of them out of all of the Gods and not wanting to let that show. So she could’ve also given that threat due to trying to take advantage of the fact the Bearer is (in her eyes) at their weakest at the moment (though when the Bearer gets a chance to talk back and call her out on that threat, that may give her some pause and a little bit of fury).

For that you first have to follow @S.Ch’s guide a little further up and then follow the steps to add the 2 save plugins to your files and index. The first part he posted is simple enough, just mostly copying each scene and a minor edit of the code in one of the files. The save plugins are a little more tricky though. Putting the plugins in the correct spot is simple enough. But you then have to edit the index file in the mygame folder to respond to those plugins. Though make sure you have Notepad++ since its required for that part.

No one ever told me if it was allowed to post a link to a .rar with all the necessary files already inside and all you would then have to do would be to copy/paste them to the correct folders. I’m not sure if someone else’s index would work on their game. So I would probably just have to post the code necessary for you to edit the index with to be on the safe side. Anyone know if dropbox allows .rars? If so I’ll upload it there and post a link later tonight.

Edit: Not going to end up using dropbox, as I don’t want to install it. So I need another hoster to put it on. Anyone have any suggestions?

In it’s current state, I’m going to say no. Because it’s not compiled into an actual program file. You have folders, each with their own files. So I’m not sure a portable device would be able to read what it needs to so that it can run. I think you have to read it on a computer. Which I think is the only option until the bugs are fixed and the author updates their demo file online.

I’ve read quite a number of Greek mythologies that varied in some aspect in their stories. But this is the first time I’ve ever heard of a version that states something like he placed a spell on Hera to make her attack the mother of his offspring and the child itself rather than target him.

It sounds like a version that makes a good number of the other stories I read inconsistent to a extent, as Zeus (not matter his temperament or personal reasons), always tried to keep Hera away from the women he had affairs with and protected the children in whatever way possible. Heck, in a good number of the versions about Dionysius’ birth, Zeus took the still forming baby to save him from dying with his mother (due to Hera tricking her in some way or due to the mother knowing she wasn’t going to live long enough to give birth herself and telling Zeus ahead of time so that he could at least save the child), went somewhere hidden where Hera and the other Gods couldn’t find him, sewn the baby into his leg and waited a good number of months for Dionysius to have a healthy ‘birth’. There’s even one occasion where Zeus sired a child that, in almost all the of versions of the story, was one of the few that Hera actually liked and never attempted to harass: Hermes.

Don’t rightly remember honestly, Few years back I was doing a Classics exam for my history class at College, The school library had a reproduction print of some old ass book of Greek origin, like written in Greece, as a reproduction of some now gone book from the dark ages of greece. Anyways If memory serves me correctly it said that Zeus’ power was just slightly greater than Hera’s, now Zeus was a playboy that much is obvious, but the best way to keep hera the faithful spouse was to make his lovers and illegitimate offspring the object of her wrath, and as he was extremely powerful he easily placed an enchantment or something on her.

I believe the exact term was something along the lines of geis or something close to it.
