Still, that choice felt kind of meaningless in the end. If we’re late regardless maybe just have us follow no matter what? That way it makes more sense with the eyes/mind control thing.
it is meaningful from a role-playing perspective, A certain character could decide Whatever I don’t care about hunter stuff
I know, I just wanted to point out a typo.
It litteraly reads “trianing”!
Basically, My MC’s reaction is more, “I do not kill anyone for amusement and you best understand that.”
She will hedge her bet that they need her on their side rather than their enemies’.
I’ve read that but I was wondering about it…socially (sociologically?)? Does that make any sense?
I hope we can get a scene relatively early on with something along those lines.
I really just want to face down the entire Pantheon and be like “Look, I don’t give a crap about Cronous. I don’t give a crap about you. You tore my family apart, and by a miracle I have it back again. I’m not competing in these trials to save you. I’m doing it for Uncle Henry and Aunt Alice.”
Like, I just want to SEE Zeus’ face when he realizes Athena had broke one of their stipulations for being released from Tartarus, and it ends up being the one thing that convinces Mia to go along with their plan. Bonus points if you take into account she still despises the gods.
As a sidenote, since Aeson is essentially going to be our polar opposite, if we have a big beef with the gods, is he going to be all buddy-buddy with them?
We do get our very own Scooby Gang…
I'm kind of disappointed that a staff isn't a choice in combat- good for
defense, long reach, a tad less lethal than sticking an arrow in
someone, and good for a walking stick if you get hurt, plus fitting the
aesthetic of a magician playthrough.
It seems kind of odd to me that the PC doesn't understand Greek in a
magician playthrough. I mean I would assume that Athena, the Greek
goddess of magic, would use Greek as the language of choice for her magic,
and since you learned from her books so it would be yours as well.
I noticed that the NPCs, such as Sage, and Adonis I believe in the secret
meeting, refer to the MC with the plural pronoun of they. My sarcastic PC would
be responding with “Unless I grew a second head without noticing, I think its safe
to say that there’s only one of me. I promise I won’t start using the royal we.”
I do hope the prior extracurricular get mentioned at the new school. For example,
I just did a runthrough in which my extremely sarcastic PC was a male cheerleader
once upon a time. “What happened to you?” “I don’t know, being a hobo for 3 years
because having parental figures was deemed inconvenient to hunting me down like America’s
Most Wanted might just have had something to do with it.”
Is that right @Rohie ? Usually it’s Hecate the greek goddess of magic :
HECATE (Hekate) - Greek Goddess of Witchcraft, Magic & Ghosts :HEKATE (or Hecate) was the goddess of magic, witchcraft,…
(But maybe I missed something in the game saying that Athena is the goddess of magic)
Athena has many attributes given to her over time; the most common and worship include:wisdom, courage, inspiration, civilization, law and justice, mathematics, olive cultivation…
She was the protector and founder of Athens and if I recall off the top of my head, a city on Cyprus.
I don’t remember magic being one of her main attributes anywhere.
Edit: I forgot weaving. Wiki doesn’t say anything about magic anywhere that I see… but Athena did have many cults so I guess it is possible a cult worshiped her as magic incarnate.
We really need this goddess
Much as I’d love to meet either Nemesis, Hecate, or Thanatos (Especially Thanatos!), I think it’d be really funny if we met Eros (greek version of Cupid). Imagine if Eros just started talking about the RO that the MC gets along with the best, and how either you are attracted to them, or they’re attracted to you. That would be hysterical if written right!
All of you are getting ahead of me!
You meet Hecate later on, because if you’re a magician, you can find a way to retrieve his spell book (check inventory.)[quote=“stsword, post:1099, topic:15482”]

Athena kidnapped the MC and took them away from all things regarding the Gods. You only know the absolute fundamentals since Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom, can’t help but teach you a few other things. You went to an American school (Preston) and you didn’t study Athena’s spell books, since that’s not really her forte.
Also, thank you for pointing out the pronouns.
I agree though with @SiROSTRiKE. Someone should at least tease the MC about potential LI’s
And if we’re adding figures that we’d love to see, I’d like Medea because she is one of the most interesting figures I’ve encountered tbh. Also the Muses – DEFINITELY THE MUSES – especially if they’re the singing chorus kind :))
Circe anyone?
I am now imagining the muses singing a song about you walking down the street when you walk past them.
@Prof_Chaos DON’T YOU DARE POST ANY GIF RESEMBLING THIS EVENT!
How can I like you
Yet want you gone for good?
My heart and mind both opposite
In the corners where they stood.
Idk. I used this line in a song once, and I feel like it accurately describes how I feel about you.
STOP BEING YOU!
(jking. I love all your posts. This is just me being stupid…like always…)
Well that’s the gospel truth. @Rohie, confession: when the summoning happened, that was basically in my mind the whole time. Like part of me was imagining the Trinity about to speak when a muse suddenly cuts in like: “We’ll take it from here, darling”
