The FBI route is not for the faint of heard, but I’m glad you enjoyed the update!
Thank you, it’s been a hell of a few weeks and I’ve been trying to get things moving again… I’m just, really tired.
I am still confused as to how to write Michael and I still don’t quite understand how people are attracted to him
That being said I’ve had a few readers give me feedback and reference and so far, I think I’m doing good with writing him, I hope…
Yeeessss, absolutely.
Thank you! I’m trying my best to try and get this game finished as soon as possible, I’ve been making people wait too long for this game, I’ve made myself wait too long as well.
I’m glad you enjoyed the update! You’ll get to spend a bit more time with the Archangel Crew and the FBI task force pretty soon, not sure if I can finish their hangouts in time, but you will be getting to spend a bit more chill time with them.
Yeah, this is a bug, good catch. It should be fixed for the next update.
Hey king, dude you’ve done it again, consistently raising the bar for us all, and doing it flawlessly. I’d say I’m surprised but I know who you are, I’ve seen it close and personal. Dude you make me so proud, and I love you.
Serious note, I loved this update, thank you so much.
There was an update, and I didn’t notice.
I am so out of the loop with everything, these days…
Sad to hear things have been hard for you, MichaelMaxwell, and I’m so sorry for your loss.
Hopefully the rest of the year will go better, for both of us
Well, finally joined the discord, and now I will go read that update.
Michael: will literally leave other angels to rot if they’re not a part of his plans. will sell you out and kill the people you love if you get on his bad side even once. has issues with authority and is genuinely just an overall terrible person.
Me: “You can flirt with Michael at the end of the latest demo?! Hell yeah!”
So, part of what Breach makes fun is all the side stuff you can. Like hanging with the crew, or doing the gigs in different ways; or just playing your character to a completely seperate archtye.
The game itself could fly by fast sadly, but not because it was small, but because how entranced you could get into it. Word count wise im sure it was up there. With that in mind.
With this sequel going to have two entirely different stories. I have to ask, is each faction’s story going to be as long as the original one? Or will they be small so both added together the word count adds up to it.
And if the original idea, just how much do you plan on expanding this next title? Cause it already seems like its gonna be HUGE
Been successful in sorting things out to continue writing at a normal pace, and now that the game is almost halfway done in terms of chapters (Not really, there’s still a ton more to go) I feel quite motivated to keep going.
Yeah, the server’s not exactly the calmest place, I mainly stay out of the off topic channels, but the main breach channels are where I most frequent, answering questions when able, as well as in tumblr now that that’s a thing.
I will hopefully try and keep consistency in terms length.
Considering we’re not even halfway through the game, and we’re already at 544,000 words, I can nervously say that Breach 2 will most likely surpass 1 million word. Because each route will both be similarly long, compared to Breach 1, probably just slightly shorter. But there is the addition of the independent route, which starts at chapter 4.
So yeah… the overall length of a single route, might be slightly shorter than that of Breach 1, but… I’m basically making two games in one, which is… a bit daft of me, but this is the path I’ve chosen and I will continue to walk down it.
If you failed to convince Michael to spare you in the first book is there any way to rejoin the Archangels? Like if the character had a change of heart?
you will be able to try and join The Archangels again after spending some time with the FBI. The maximize the chances of you joining, you will have to sabotage the FBI’s efforts as much as possible.
Finally, a kindred spirit who also desires that wretched world of fatasy abominations. Guns are fun but sword and sorcery is the best combination. If anyone haven’t touch that WIP, do yourself a favor
I’m actually very excited to write Afar: Mad World. I still need to rewrite a few things but, overall, the game is based on numerous DnD campaigns I’ve been in throughout the years. Homebrew magic rules.
one of the motivations to finish Breach 2 is working on Afar XD
Update 12 is now in the private testing phase. It’ll be coming to the public demo around the 20th or 30th/
It consists of the completed Chapter 2 Part 1 for both routes. I can finally rid myself of that chapter. It’s been hell… but, hopefully, it should be worth it.
I did it, only took me a few sleepless nights a bunch of head scratching and begging for Ben to come back and help me fix Breach’s coding, but, I did it!

Been a crazy month for me, not sure how everyone else has been but, I’ve been very comfortable with this progress. That being said, I need to push myself, I need to get Breach finished soon so that it’ll be released next year. That is my ultimate goal.
This update focuses mainly on finishing off the romance scenes in the Archangel route of Chapter 2 Part 1, as well as finishing up the last sequence of the FBI route, finally ending my work on Chapter 2 Part 1… finally. This whole chapter has been a doozy and working on it has had me questioning my own choice of making this game two whole different stories.
… May have my regrets, but I will continue this path and finish my story how I intend to.
Just, finally dawning on me how big of a project this is with just one person. Even if I still had Ben’s help, this would definitely be a huge task for me to write two stories at the same time.
That being said, it’s turning up great, and the upcoming chapter lets me ease up a bit since the routes will soon converge, before diverging again.
Which means, yes, meeting your old friends. Be it in the FBI route, or in the Archangel route.
Not much of a Discord news but I do have a tumblr now, so, yeah!
Well, had it for awhile but I finally made it officially the main Tumblr page for Breach related content, and eventually, Afar content.
