Yeah just noticed the typos and misspellings but the story as a whole was good. Hmmm maybe another heir or a Saint/saintess? Very curious indeed.
This was something quite complicated in this first chapter, I also noticed some errors here and there, so there will be corrections soon. I will probably leave the new scenes for later in the second chapter, but chapter 1 has some minor inconsistencies in some scenes that I will fix. And I can’t say much, but it is definitely a noble from Akalis.

Highly enjoying my playthrough so far. Just some small things I caught.
I think this section might’ve been intended to be “Yes, they are.” as opposed to “Yes, they do.”
The “were” here might be extraneous:

I’m glad you like it, and thank you for letting me know about these errors, they are things I plan to fix soon. Unfortunately I won’t be able to do it completely today, but I will fix these errors, not all of them, because I will be leaving soon for a new year celebration, but I will update soon with the corrections made and with better translations, I hope.

I’ll definitely be following this WIP closely. I’m enjoying the writing for the interactions between the MC and their father immensely as it seems to me to be highly realistic of how a proud and ruthless leader would treat a child that they have a fondness and even love for. They obviously want the child to be as strong and self sufficient as possible in order to help them survive the cutthroat world they’ve helped to create with their own ruthless actions and they’re willing to be somewhat cruel to us in order to assure that but the core motivation of doing so to keep their child alive shines through over it simply being a way to cement their own power and legacy. At least that’s how it comes off to me so far. A twisted kind of love dictated by the circumstances of their time/setting but love still the same.

That’s exactly it, Eleazar is basically the commander of the army of one of the most powerful kingdoms on the continent, and he’s a military, and the house of MC is not known for being nice or weak, but for its warriors and powerful leaders. And although Eleazar loves mc, he also wants to keep the family legacy alive. I tried to be a little loyal and get a little inspired by the issue of knights and squires in medieval times as well, although it is a very different world and fantasy, I was inspired by some things of medieval times.

So i take it MC family is one of the most powerful major noble House’s in the Kingdom but does their territory also have a strong economy and industry? Well trained and powerful soldiers is one thing but can MC house equipped and support their army and the war effort financially? When does MC house regained such premiere strong status again after their defeat ? Also can’t help but notice than even the King is wary of MC Noble house so why did he allow MC father to be the commander of the army?

They regained their status as the most powerful house little by little, starting with the prince who was born of Norton and the queen of Dorian, who accepted to submit to Adas in exchange for forgiveness, however much the vassals of the house didn’t like it. After all, the kingdom of Dorian was quite strong, but lost some of this strength because of the war between Northon and Adas, both sides were weakened but the armies of the kingdom of Dorian and the house of the mc were weakened even more. Adas forgave and made the kingdom of dorian, which at that time was led by mc’s ancestor, a vassal of Petrus. But the descendants of the house of mc who were born later were well willing to make the family name and their house one of the most powerful and feared in the kingdom, not only to provoke the Elkar (hence the rivalry and competitiveness of the two houses), but also to protect their legacy and their descendants. And with each member of the mc’s family who made their names known and their house honored, the more the Elkar became suspicious and fearful that there might be another rebellion. It’s that typical saying “keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. For this reason some members of the house were rewarded with high-value positions among the nobles, whether they were part of the kingdom council or were commanders and warriors in battle.
And although the house of mc and the house Elkar hate each other ,they have also learned to value their united forces and that the best thing for all of them (petrunians and elementals) is to stay together ,there are other old enemies out there (Akalis and Suron) after all they also love their families and their power ,and little bible quote here “Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.” That’s basically it ,although there is great competitiveness between the houses and both sides nudge each other from time to time, united they are stronger. That’s why Eleazar accepts to submit, even though the house of mc is much more powerful than in the past, now being a great economic and military force. If the houses of Petrus (including mc’s) fight among themselves now, this could be a golden opportunity for other enemies to take advantage and try to conquer the Petrus continent, enslave and use Elementals (which yes, have already been hunted in the past, I was even thinking of making a mini game about it, but that would double my work here, maybe I’ll do it one day, we’ll see)
And the issue of Eleazar being the commander is not only something to keep his “enemy” close and with his ego up, but also to make it seem that they are very united and strong, that any threat that appears will be afraid of this alliance. Eleazar is indeed a brute force and a very skilled warrior, he does not like the king or the Elkar, but accepts the post of commander, being below the king, for the good of the family and the kingdom, although they hate each other very much.
So it is a stalemate, and a truce between the two greatest houses for the good of the kingdom and their families, and people too.

I see thanks for the information. At first it looks counterintuitive to putting a rival so close to power that they could easily pull a surprise coup by going straight for the heart as you might put it but what you said make sense two birds with one stone. Now just another question if you don’t mind what would happen to the House of Elkar and MC if the two heirs get married would the two families unite as one since MC don’t have any siblings to replace them if they marry into the Royal family? LoL just imagine the look of both Father’s when MC and Hayden tie the knot what a wholesome family reunion it would be “strained In-laws”.

Attention, the available pairs for fake relationship have already been added as an option, and these are Elia, Cecilia and Hayden. remembering that you are not obligated to be in a real relationship with any of them, they can either be friends or evolve to more than that, and you can also flirt and date other Ro’s in these cases Caio, Tyler and the new Ro that is yet to appear. There are still openings for betas too, in case someone new wants to volunteer. That’s it, thanks for your attention and I’ll let you know what’s new, soon the new update.

I have read many stories (by various authors) over the past week, and this story seems to be the only one that’s actually being worked on and updated. I’ve enjoyed what I have read so far, and look forward to more!
