Gotta say I love the hate-flirt options. A lot of games will let you make your MC grumpy but then suddenly all the flirt options are kind/goofy/shy/outgoing, and it contrasts so bad with the general personality that throws me off. Thanks for paying attention to that and giving us the option to be a grumpy gremlin and still go for the ROs without being punished by having a bad personality.

No, for real. I’m going for a very stoic MC and I love how I can just pick an option that says something like “How about I don’t strangle you?” and still earn romance points with Hayden lol it’s kinda refreshing

Uhhh I want my Tsundere answer to Hayden back like " I hate you" 🩷, “you’re idiot” 🩷.
And uhh I notice there is change in stats and exp but still no stuff involved that.
I would like a midground in the end village quest resolution, My MC don’t like surrendering but my MC don’t want to lay waste to entire village either, maybe just catching/arresting the rabble rouser and instigator.
The cliffhanger man is cruel

There’s a cheat menu? How do you access it? There are no actual skill checks yet, but I’m curious unless I missed something.

Yes, if you open the stats and then select the inventory or relationship option, you can set it, you can change the stats but I don’t know if this is a cheat mode or just a bug
The view stats page isn’t even working for me. At least not as far into the demo as I’ve gotten which is the palace part. I just get the Error code “choicescript_stats line 22: Non-existent command ‘la’”
Edit: This is the new demo I might add.
Edit 2: I’m also curious about when we’ll get to pick the gender. So far I’ve gotten to the meeting you can join your mother in, but still haven’t gotten the option to do so which is odd. Usually that’s one of the very first things you end up picking in a game. Edit: 4 Gender was picked. It was just much later than I expected to do so.
Edit 3: I’m also confused when it comes to “Adopt a creature” since it doesn’t appear to happen at one choice where you pick one out of the options. The Dire Wolf is seen first, but is taking it going to lock you out of adopting the rest? Do I need to, eh. Make the frankly awful choice, if I want a chance to adopt one of the other creatures down the line eventually? Or can I keep the Dire Wolf and still get the rest?
Edit 5: I’m sure this has already been mentioned by others, but there seems to be some problems with Hayden’s pronouns, on a lot of occasions actually. It’s not a massive problem, but it can be very distracting. Especially for those that expect a certain gender for them to fit the type of romance they want with them be it straight or gay.

I got the option to adopt a dire wolf pup, but the chance to do so is very easy to miss. After, ehm. Taking care of the cursed ones, the player needs to pick the choice where they point out that they can see something, rather than picking the option to directly leave after killing them. That choice will then lead to the choice of bringing the pup home with you or not.
Which is also where my confusion comes from. Will bringing it home prevent you from getting one of the other ones? I mean fuck, I really want the dragon. But it’s a hard choice to make if you don’t know if it’ll lock you out of the others since the description says “Adopt a creature” which implies you can only adopt one. Most players might not notice that, and bring the pup home not realizing that doing so will prevent you from getting even cooler pets down the road.

I’d imagine it will give an option to either take one and give the other one away when you get a choice for another pet could be wrong
I mean I doubt you could keep both unless it’s a reward for being kind witch could be the case being I can’t see many ways for your character being in their position getting many awards for being kind so

I took the puppy, but it just kind of …dissapears at some point in the flurry of events going on. There’s no mention of what you do with it after getting home. If we can’t keep it and get a pet later, it would be nice to be able to chose who gets it. I’d consider giving it to either Eleazar or Hayden, but lean more towards giving it to Hayden* and kind of pissing everyone off.
*Under an “if you won’t take care of yourself, at least take care of him” type admonition.
