Blood and Steel (WiP) (Updated 11th of September)

Of course, he can’t defeat a demon army or a god’s army in any way possible without another god to aid him. If Ludite wanted to take control of Ezaelia he’d give that privilege to anyone basically. He’s seen candidates better than the MC so it is not beneficial for him to only aid him/her. The player will get occasional help, but so will everyone else serving Ludite. Meaning, Ludite thinks of everyone equal at the moment.
None have gained his attention.
If he does indeed play favorites, no god will watch as the divine of war marches his armies across Ezaelia,
using a mortal as a tool. He would be stopped by them and dethroned.
So, for you to somehow benefit:
You’d have to help Ludite get more powerful than the other gods. That is… impossible.
You’d have to gain enough attention by Ludite, proving you’re equal or more powerful than the King.
You’d have to ignore Ludite altogether and serve another god.

I’ve decided I’ll make conversation options unusable once you’ve chosen one already. Since you’ll replay the game many times, I see no point in why you’d want to re-read a thing so many times, plus it’s a little bit frustrating to press down onto the next choice. (For me too).

The game breaks when I fight Lewyn in the melee.

That’s troubling. The fact that it breaks isn’t, I’ll fix it, but the fact that I never updated the link to the game publicly is. Uhhh. This is weird. Does me somehow updating it for the testers automatically post it here or what the…
Well, since it was never, again, intended to update. But you still came upon it, I’ll see to it…

Wait, you can lose an arm? My plans now are making a one-armed duelist.

Not in the game’s current state for that is a full list of planned traits. But yes, you can lose an arm. I don’t know why you’d like to become a one-armed duelist however, unless you’d like to to enjoy the confusion of your opponents once they see they’re getting their butts kicked by a person without an arm.

That is exacly the intention. The irony of a person with only one arm being a Master with a blade is too appelling to pass.

Yes, perhaps, but I’d prefer more stylish finishings performed by two arms. After all, it’s rather hard to parry and counter with one.
Edit: Come to think of it, Ironfist already fights with one arm behind his back.

I guess that’s true. But then again It only makes It more rewarding when you manage to do it.

Well, Ironfist has a proper reason for this movement at least.

Well in my mind i’m guessing that If we become a duelist and then lose an arm then you would develop a style of figthing with one arm only.

Still, Ulf’s reasoning is considered unbelievable and unreliable for why he moves like that. Even by the MC.

So would for the enemies of the MC when they see a maimed man/woman taking up a blade and entering a figthing posture.

Telling someone you lost an arm and developed this fighting style when you clearly have another arm isn’t realistic and reliable now, is it?

The MC would develop It after losing the arm.
Let me explain myself a little better, and remember that all that which i am saying may ir Mat not be, afterall you are the onde making the story, so it’s only my mind Canon.
The MC would already be a experienced fighter before losing the arm, and then in an epic ir tragic Battle he would lose It. In Despair he would now be beated by almost everyone because he isn’t properly trained to fight like that, so he would take It in his on hands to try and develop a way of

… continuing
a way to fight with one arm, it would be hard but i am guessing he could make It.

Sorry for the typos, i am on my phone and i am not english Native so my keyboard autocorrects somethings.

I understand that part, I’m only saying it’s hard to believe Ulf’s statement. He says he learned it AFTER losing an arm. You can see he has an arm. If someone told you in real life that they lost an arm and you saw that they had one, what would you think?
(Well, this is a bad example considering it’s modern times…)

He lost control of it somehow? Like neural damage? That way he still have the arm, but can still be considered one-armed.
Sorry now i’m just triping, and i typed way too much for my taste. Going to withdraw myself now.

Nah, it’s fine. It’s rather good to write as I can express more to the story from my imagination. Continue if you like it.
Anyways, One armed character is considered a character with physically no arm, so in that case Ulf is saying his arm was cut off clean, but you can see he has one.

Wait, now i am confused. He has or no two arms? Is he lying? I guess i am going to re-read everything about him when i play again (it’s been a while since i played so i’m feeling kinda of lost)
