Yeaaah… that ain’t happening in my case, with my current WIP I’m aiming at 200,000 (which is difficult enough as it is), so 300,000 is definitely out of the question, but I’m not sure it’s a requirement for release. For instance, the CCH games are immensely popular (and are my favorite HGs) and are below 300,000 words. Both have Steam releases (that’s how I found them).
