Are you working on a game in ChoiceScript? Let us know!

I am working on a project called Dark Lord. I have a lot of time for coding so I expected the game to finish within March, the game is rather big, not as Tin Star, of course.

Im working on a WW2 game based during the time when the U.S fought Japan. Should be good since it has jokes, action, and drama!

I am currently working on Days of a Demon Lord, a high fantasy and hopefully humorous adventure

Polishing up No Proper Thief. Title is linked to the forum post on it.

On the days when Cassandra of Troy is giving me fits…like lately…(those bath scenes are really making me rethink a lot of stuff! :frowning: ) I have another WIP I am writing. This one has gender choice/romance choices!

Dragonriders of the North (or something like that…)

Set on an alternate timeline Earth (Steampunkish), you can begin as a serf, a noble, a craftsperson or a child of Dragonriders. Make your way to the Dragonhold, bond with a young dragon (or get eaten), and try to make it through the training to become a Dragonrider!

I’ve spent a lot of time world building this one, and just now starting the story. It’s definitely one I can stretch into 2 or 3 sequels.

Hey everyone,

Just a heads up as requested by this forum that I have started working on a game.
At the moment it has about 15.000 words and I will try to place a demo shortly.
Don’t have a definite name for it, but for the moment I will go with: the 6th legion.

For global setting I would say, Roman empire, joining the legion, life after the legion. (this is a very broad line though.)

More information will be placed in WIP =)

Hello, my game is tentatively called Totalled. It’s a noir / crime fiction adventure.

The story begins late at night in the pouring rain, in downtown Pittsburgh. A black Bentley Continental with tinted windows swerves out in front of you and slams on the breaks. You try to avoid it but the road is too slick. The next few moments are fuzzy. There’s a scream. Then, the sound of bones snapping underneath your tires. Finally, you slam into a telephone pole and black out.

Next, a greasy tow truck driver named Tom wakes you up and yanks you out of what’s left of your ride. He shows you a mangled body in the road and says that you’re responsible. Then he offers to clean up your mess – for a price.

Will you trust Tom, turn yourself in or flee the scene of the crime?

Your actions may very well lead you to becoming a pawn in a very dangerous game. But will you cooperate with cold-blooded criminals and rise in the ranks or will you dare to disobey their orders?

Along the way, you may run into an underground society of young homeless boys led by a charismatic, mysterious rebel. But does the boys’ leader really have good intentions or is he in fact a psychopathic manipulator?

Of course-- depending on how you play your cards-- your choices may very well lead you to prison. But if that happens, the story doesn’t end there. If you wind up in the can, you can opt to do your time and navigate prison politics while gaining influence and notoriety. Or, you can organize a daring escape plan-- if you manage to befriend the right cellmate.

There are three main story branches plus a romantic subplot. I’d like it to be an epic length 100-200k word game. Suggestions and comments will be greatly appreciated.

I have started working on my first ChoiceScript project. You play the son of a courtier to the King of Henlan. The game explores three major themes. 1.) Parenthood, the prologue is from the perspective of your mother and father on the day you are born, and a focus is placed on their relationship with you, and then much later your relationship to your children or apprentices. 2.) Self, the religion of Henlan includes the Bard-God Martu who sings a song for each person, your character comes across self-realization through their life. 3.)The Meaning of Life, the last scene is already written out and it ends with the lines “If you could go back what you do differently?” I know i’m ambitious but I want this story to actually take you through the characters life.

I am working on my newest project, a WWII based game where you play as a fighter pilot! (I will be adding female pilots and bomber pilot storyline soon!) it has ranks, kill count, and other stuff!

I am completing a short story surrounding a single moral question, set at the end of this millennium (when not much has changed: money is tight, bosses aren’t perfect, and family is weird). The player is a scientist trying to make his way by studying Jupiter when he discovers something he is not meant to know. By my guess, the game takes a single 15-minute sitting. I’m new to the forum and new to choicescript, but quicktest and randomtest both passed, so I’ll be putting it in WIP soon.

Hi !

I’m working on a CoG game since a week, it’s called “Future Day, Past Time”.
I want to submit it when it’s done on hosted games (I will do a beta launch first).

But I have a couple questions :

  • I don’t know how many words it will last. I saw that it’s good between 20 000 and 50 000 words, but I don’t know if I’ll get there.
  • I want to realease it under the Free Art Licence ( http://artlibre.org/licence/lal/en/ ), I wonder if it’s possible or not ?

(Maybe I should open new threads cause this thread is not here to answer questions…)

Alright folks. I’m back. After feeling a little bummed out about being told to go elsewhere, I decided to rewrite the story a bit.

I’m still working on that medieval fantasy/sci-fi game, titled “The Empire Saga: Corruption” (Unoffical). The reader plays as a young thief who has been caught stealing.

Now, it is still a mature read but there is no longer any adult themes (and i’ve added an option reduce the amount of violence involved in the story).

I’ll have a new thread with a demo up in a few days. Its still a W.I.P.

If any mod/admins have any concerns about the project, please send me a PM and I’ll show you that the game no longer contains any adult rated material. This game does not contain any more violence than any other story that I’ve read here.

I am currently working on a game called Blood, Ice, Fire and Fate, which is a retelling of Beowulf, with lots of other stuff thrown in as well. But it probably won’t be finished for a LOOOONG time yet, so…yeah…

I’m working on a game set in the same world as (and set during) my self-published novel A Fistful of Fire. It’ll be some time until I finish it, particularly since I want artwork with it, but it’s a fun project to poke at when I need a break from my other work.

I’m working on a new (longer) story set in war-torn Eurasia five hundred years in the future. The reader plays as the Chief Medical Officer aboard a warship and plays a key role in the lives of individuals and the history of countries until the end of the war (or until the end of his/her life, as the case may be). Tentatively titled “The End of Kondo,” the story is about 88k words long and has optional combat, mazes, side-missions, and romance. I forecast we’ll be beta-testing in a 2-3 months and have the complete story alpha-tested in 8-12 months. Working on this with @SilverRain.

I’m working on a relatively short, experimental multiple-player-character, multiple-choice game. “Stranded” is the current working title. It’s about a small group of people who become stranded on a deserted island and must try to figure out how to survive. I’m about four thousand words in, and it’s about halfway done. It should be complete by the end of spring break (the week of the 23rd through the 29th, where I live). I hope to offer it as a hosted game for free, but if for some reason that doesn’t work out, I intend to post it on the forums.

I’m working on my first WIP with choice script. Atm it’s titled “The Gift: Uprising”. This is my working title for now. The title was changed from “Life With ESP”.

Okay so in the prologue, it explains how scientists created a deadly virus which spread so quickly there was no cure to end it, in a desperate attempt to save humanity the world government turned nuclear. About a hundred years later, mother nature is trying to mend herself but the creatures returning are newly mutated beasts. An aftermath of The Nuclear Massacre, also includes babies born with immunity to the radiation (immunes), babies born with physical mutations (hidden) and those born with ESP (gifted). The MC chooses a gift and plays out the life story. I have the main topics outlined/planned but don’t wish to go into too much of the details.

I have a thread for “The Gift: Uprising” under WIP category.

I’m working a game I haven’t titled yet; It’s going to be a teen-witch type game, but with some deeper and more terrifying story. I’m currently really enjoying working with choicescript!

As of now I’m currently doing a co-project with someone. The game is titled <aDrágóneer and it’s a fantasy game where your MC is an aspiring dragon trainer or breeder.

I’m making a game called Wave Rider, which is inspired by the movie Waterworld if you’ve ever seen it.
