Giga City is the New York stand-in, yeah. You can see a bit more information about it in the stats screen, thereâs a section that talks about the âimportantâ places the MC visits/knows about.
Thereâll probably be a Naha section when I publish Chapter 6.

Okay so I finished a fresh playthrough and I did notice alot of new things that were added or slightly changed. I know I said I might be comfortable sharing my forming theory on the full capacity of the MC and Latâs powers but I didnât want to jump into it immediately so I had to sit back and really think it through.
I also had to take in consideration not to go full anime several times while brainstorming. Do you guys know how hard it can be to keep myself somewhat grounded in reality while going into my full obsession mode? Iâm taking my best shot here with all info that I can remember so bear with me please.
Summary
Okay so I believe the MC and Lat arenât just your usual superpowered people which is obvious with the Other Yous. Definitely not aliens since we havenât seen any signs of aliens in the story at all. We just heard about two absurdly OP people at Crete, but guess what? MC and Lat may be similar to these two in many ways, with the MC sharing them with the BK and Lat with BQ. I donât know how or why this is possible yet but this is my gut feeling. Forget about Seeker or V or whoever else that might be stronger, the final battle just might be MC/Lat v Broken King after he crushes everybody on sight. And now for the interesting part, remember the robot battle with the Other You having glowing golden eyes? Yeah thatâs gonna be the MC once they actually awaken their power through instincts and intense state of emotions. After Yoshio died and MC tries to look for survivors only to find none kind of provided that piece of info for me and the breakdown. My theory is MC and Lat probably can go something like Super Saiyan which puts them both above everyone else that they were told to pass by their Other Yous and their powers work the best while working together as our kind author has pointed out which absolutely leads me to MC/Lat v BK.
So sorry for the long ass winded typing you had to read and yâall probably look at me like right now

No commentary on the theory (I make a point of not disproving or confirming any of them, since I think it kind of weakens discussion + Iâm dumb enough I may end up spoiling), but I will say this:
I already have the match-ups for the final chapters decided. Every League member (and someone that isnât in the League) has an enemy to defeat.
Who will fight alongside the MC/Lat is going to be a bit of a surprise.
And yes, the Broken King will have an appearance in the final battle.

On a related note, is there a reason why Forlorn isnât a LI?
Maybe itâs because I had my MC romance Latooni, but he left more of an impression on me than Mars or Nova. To the extent heâs the one he trusts the most of all the senior members.

Plot reasons, mostly.
Forlornâs been a soldier ever since he was 12 years old, so he has never really had the time to consider romance or anything of the like. Likewise, his mind atm is too consumed with⌠certain events in his past, so he doesnât have either the emotional nor mental capacity for a partner.
Right now, Forlorn is focused only on being kind-of, more-or-less, i-am-but-donât-tell-her Akiâs legal guardian/caretaker.
There might be a romance arc in Book 2, so I wouldnât douse the torch yet, but even then, the MC is lacking⌠a certain quality that Forlorn needs in a partner.
