Did find one thing- the confrontation with the duke at the end of the plague I chose to make the truth serum and then in the middle of the interrogation the game jumped to the using spiritualism to abduct the duke through spiritgates option.

Some have already mentioned, but there’s a bug with the merdal village. I chose truth serum, but when the scenes and questions ended the game jumps back to the spirit gate choice scene.

@Parivir noticed a oddity when solving who brought about the curse of merdal village… Using a spirit gate works to get us out… But a page or two in…it’s like we’re jumped back to the manor when I don’t recall seeing us spirit gate back…thought I would mention it and ask if something is missing?

This should all be fixed now! This segment has more lateral variety than any other point in the game, and I had a heck of a time untangling all the intersecting possibilities. Thanks for the catch!

I just get an infinite loading screen after pressing next right after augur does the deed … maybe that’s where the demo is supposed to end, but just in case it’s a bug thought you should know

The infinite loading issue should also be resolved (if you got one right after Augur’s act, then congrats / sorry! That’s the end of the current demo, and there’s no need to fire up your old save to see what comes next yet).

If I remember properly, the part of the plague was incomplete.

It has now been completed, albeit probably a little buggy still in places. But my beta testers are on the case!

Book 2 (aka the Arcadia chapter) will almost entirely focus on this aspect, so I hope you’re ready for more loredumping in future updates!

Does anybody know how to get the “i’ll save everyone damn the consequences” choice during the plague part. It’s blocked for me and i just can’t seem to get the stats for it. I’ve tried with 90 Nobility and like 80 Optimism. Does anybody know the stat reqs for it?

You can only select the option if you opted for the Enchantment / Alchemy routes in the previous fork. That being said, there is a very high statcheck (>80) that you’ll have to clear to get the good end of that choice (which is also the best possible end for the plague segment). Failing it will fittingly result in the worst possible end, so choose wisely!

It’s probably set to fail because you can’t save anyone, realistically

With how high the stat check is, this is likely to be the case unless you’re good with failing other stat checks elsewhere in the game!

@Mercz94 if I’m not mistaken the best possible outcome is saving everyone and if what parvir has said is the case then it shouldn’t be possible for you to get the best outcome based on your stats you showed.

@Parivir One thing I noticed is during the Baron fight scene, it says we used Morana’s Wail but it is not updated in magical codex(I had not used it before)

Erm I took the “Truth Serum”- Route in the Plague Chapter and after the talk it followed up with the Spirit Gate branch… pretty sure that isn’t supposed to happen.

Oh, no ! Eli…what did you do? please not another parasite, hasn’t poor mc got enough of those already? At least I think I get why the mc may need to use a weapon from here on out if the other parasite weakens them even further magically.
