Yeah, I’m just wondering how they’re like, processing all of this.
I like the rewrite myself. As a param loyalist who still loves the trio, the rewrite feels more natural for my helpful and noble MC to assist his new ‘allies’ while still questioning Arcadia and Talia’s end goal. He would happily help Param and Arcadia forge an alliance, but he will never help Arcadia start a mass war or threaten his Param babies.
But at least I don’t feel like my character is being forced to help an enemy. This feels more like what he would do for any ppl of any nation. Help those in need.
Out of curiosity, how many of you guys do the reset personality meters choice in the demo? How much do you change your PC’s personality between the two games, or do you stay consistent?
Oh you got that part I got the kiss and the self-sacrificing words even still I got tortured
Nah, I have no reason for my MC to reset his personality. He is still who he always was…way to helpful and self-sacrificing. Lol
So far i have stayed the same with all my playthroughs one of these days i might change a personality at that point but that will probally be after far more of the story is revealed lol
I could only see changing personality if I chose revenge route. But problem is I very much adore Leon and co.
I’m not resetting after going through all the trouble of entering that stuff.
I do the reset. My mage is trying to be the exact opposite of her old self that got sent to the pyre. She thinks her her old self was far too naive, trusted others far too easily, and not to mention her penchant for self-sacrifice which only helped expedite her death. Though despite her best efforts sometimes her old nature wins out.
Stats were all red, now blue for the most part.
The other reason I do it is because I can’t wait to see the old crew’s reactions to one who looks/talks like the mage they knew but all the warmth and light is gone. If its anything close to the reaction Saine had in the old demo then it’ll be well worth it.
This is my rationale for doing the same thing
I stay consistent, have no reason to reset personality
I leave it, and play through the changes (colder, less trusting, speaks much less) organically rather than changing them as stats. I figure that my mage would have the mindset of “why would I let them change who I am” but also the blind spot that would keep them from seeing that they’ve done exactly that.
