A Mage Reborn, Book Two (WIP) - UPDATED April 5th, 2025 | Book One Released!

Then F was pretty dumb for falling for someone as mentally unstable and evil as her if that’s true. I would had thought they had some brain cells but apparently not.

They’re supposed to unlock one after another since they’re flashbacks of mc life to the point of being burned on the stake

But she was fighting tooth and nail for arcadians and that might have well resonated with F who is still pretty young and passionate about the cause

Okay, I might say something controversial, But I really cannot say that I hate Sister. I might say it because i already played through most of the update and the patreon sub-story, but I think she is a victim just as us with Eli. It just her meeting with Thalia that opened her ambitious side that made her into a monster most of us know her.

Again, maybe because i’ve read the sub-story, i cant call her a heartless monster and i really cant say with straight face that she killed her father just for shit and giggles. But again, thats just my opinion and unless Thalia resurrects Mir as well, we dont have to worry about her at this point

I won’t argue with that because that’s true on F’s part but I’m saying if F really knew what happened with Eli, MC and Mir… F probably would be having second thoughts because Mir was trying to capture Eli and MC for her own reasons which would be awful for the both of them if Eli didn’t do what they did. That and they were just children at the time so it’s still a traumatic event.

Edited: @Kungoru that’s the thing, Mir was already a monster before she met Thaila. Remember that part where she crushed her dad’s head with a giant rock and giggled at it while Eli was trying to take the MC away from the scene.

Well, you know what they say, “The heart wants what it wants” I dont think that makes F dumb. Its possible that Mir acted very differently with F. I also don’t really think that F minded what Mir was doing. Considering her reign of terror was mainly aimed at Param.

And thats just what makes it baffling to me how Eli decided to join them. Like did she have any idea they were going to blow param up? Or was it fine by her. I wanted to confront her right there because I was curious as to what her answer will be. Also, I want to know about yusuha’s motive too, he is too kind to have approved of the genocide they would have committed if mc hadn’t succeeded and his own sister was the bait.

I do have to say Im disappointed that we cant demand a pound of flesh from Tahlia for her enabling of Mir. There being no “Ill help, but with conditions” seems kinda out of place when they skip straight to loyalty or no loyalty.

Like, sure. We’re Arcadian. Maaaybe we’ll help, but trying to force us to go along with things in bad faith is how you get Arcadia destroyed, especially if you’re bringing back the person most affected by the absolute monster you unleashed on Param.

It’s just that we don’t really know what happened to them after the last time we saw them. I’m inclined to believe that Thalia is Johan Liebert-level of manipulator and made Eli believe that her cause is just. Although tbh maybe that controversial opinion of Eli’s will help out bring more of their character.

At this point, everyone’s manipulation and stupidity is making my MC want to reenact The Rumbling from Attack on Titan. Too bad according to a old Tumblr ask, that requires quite alot of rage and madness but I’d gladly pay that price for some peace and quiet for the MC.

Edited: Bonus point for me if the author gracefully adds a “Subjects of Ymir” speech that the MC can do before all of that.

All of us left to do is get us Nuclear Phantasma and we are set to go :+1:

Can MC sink the floating Arcadian city into the sea (or crash it into Sienan)? Some MCs might be tempted to do that, after all.

Lol after saying that I want to see more of her character, this is not what I was expecting. I thought she could be shown reason but at this point I am just hoping we dont have to fight her. Its much the fault of mc for standing there and enduring all of their barbs (mostly F) as if it was their fault.
Just had a thought, if ilya and saine know that the arcadians were behind the whole thing will their perspectives change!? Basically they were forced into a war, they threatened the whole city, killed their saintess and made them kill (courtesy of Leon) the mc. Would like to see it. Eli cannot fully blame them for the mistakes as they were the one’s who instigated it and there are bound to be collateral damage.

Nothing ever bad happens to floating cities…nothing bad at all.

I am 97% sure that, unless we go complete batshit insane, they will always be at out side. Man, arcadians sure do love this whole collar play, huh?

Btw what are your favorite spells? Mine is the one called Black Sun. Packs quite a punch haha

Spirtism is still my favorite school because it lets you cosplay Doctor Strange every time you think its appropriate. Also the whole skin-falling Gatebraker thing but we do not talk about that

I agree that Flyss can be pretty obnoxious at first. Found her unbearable initially. Still, she really grew on me. I think her development is going well.

I mean, wtf did the city of Arcadia do to anybody? It’s this weird faction of… idek what to call them. Extremists, maybe? that’s the problem, not Arcadia itself. Same for Param. Even if you’re pissed about what happened in the past life, destruction of an entire city or two entire cities seems like overkill. Unless you’re interested in becoming like Sister. In that case, you do you booboo
