Definitely intended! I thought it was possible to do both Yu and F’s first scenes in the last patch, but if not, I’m glad that’s been rectified.

It should be unavoidable if you made the corresponding choice in Chapter 5. However, the variable that denotes this is a new addition I believe around two patches back. Which is to say, if you’re loading an older save than that, the Saine letter flag has not been raised and the scene then becomes inaccessible.
That being said, here is that variation in full, for your convenience! Hope you don’t mind a bit of code with your angst.

Re: ‘soulmates’ - Although there’s so much in terms of variables already, that conversation feels like an excellent point to establish if the MC just feels like Eli is only a friend/sibling, or if they’re unsure thus leaving it open. Nothing wrong with discussing it once broached, after all, and lots of readers will still be hurting for Ilya/Leon at this stage of things, though discussing them with Eli in this particular scene might be too early yet. Those are my immediate feedback impressions, anyway.

Anyone else mix n’ match their specialization and phantasma contracts?
Thaum-focus with Gweila is fun because Shaman’s Elegy allows you to rapidly dish out Skywraths like it’s no big deal.

After the sick village plotline I’ve taken to specializing in alchemy while taking Nyx as my phantasm.

Enchantment with Alchemy secondary is actually cracked. You’re the ultimate party buff and partially act as a healer.

If you can get Enchantment, Alchemy and Spiritism all to high levels, which is perfectly possible, you can essentially do anything. The three put together have enough ‘blasting’ in addition to all their utility functions that there’s really nothing left for Thaum.
