Played this one a few times, and really enjoyed it. Quite a few moments in the story had me on the edge of my seat. The historical setting felt very well-researched. I quite enjoyed the tank crew, the officers, and Sergeant Baume as characters.
There was a very strong feeling throughout the story of: You, your crew, and your tank will not win this war on their own. But every decision you make will make a difference, good or bad. And the small differences add up.
This feeling felt especially potent when good decisions ended up saving lives in-story relative to worse decisions. (I restored checkpoints a lot.)
In any event, this game was very enjoyable, and I look forward to the author’s future work.
Final note: My best playthrough had my crew bag five enemy tanks at Chewy-Gooey Pass.
